Holiday Pay for Part. Time Employees
Holiday Pay for Part. Time Employees Regular part-time employees shall receive holiday pay on a pro-rated basis when they would be normally scheduled and available to work on the holiday in question. When a holiday falls on a part-time employee’s regularly scheduled day off, the employee is not eligible for holiday pay.

1. Policy
Holiday Pay for Part. Time Employees
(a) Part-time employees will be paid one and one-half times the basic rate of pay for hours worked on a designated holiday.
(b) Part-time employees shall be paid four point two percent of their gross pay on each paycheque, in lieu of named holiday pay.
Holiday Pay for Part. Time and Casual Employees
(a) Regular part-time employees will be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the basic rate of pay for hours worked on a designated paid holiday.
(b) Regular part-time employees shall be paid 4.6% of their gross pay in each biweekly pay period, in lieu of holiday pay for designated paid holidays.
(c) Casual employees will be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the basic rate of pay for hours worked on a designated paid holiday, and will receive 4.6% of their gross pay in each biweekly pay period, in lieu of holiday pay for designated paid holidays.
