HOLIDAY PRIVILEGES. (a): The hotel will grant to all full time regular employees within the scope of the Contract prior to the holidays concerned, and who work all of their last regularly scheduled day of work before the public holiday and all of their regularly scheduled day of work after the public holiday, pay for days listed: New Year’s Day Good Friday Victoria Day Canada Day Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day December In addition, all full-time regular employees who are on the seniority list within the scope of the contract and who have completed fifty (50) days worked prior to the holidays concerned, pay for the days listed: Civic Day Remembrance Day Employee’s Birthday Anniversary Date (Employee Start Date) Floating Personal Day (effective January 2007) An additional Floating Personal Day (effective January 2009) When not required to work, the hotel will grant the employee one (I) day’s money according to regular rate for the above noted twelve (12) days. When the Employee is required to work on any one (1) of the above noted twelve (12) days, shall be paid in addition to regular rate of pay, regular day’s money. It is also agreed that by mutual consent in the case of Beverage Service and Beverage Production employees, Statutory Holidays may be exchanged in lieu of enforced closures of the department, as required by law. In the event of a holiday, as specified in this Article, falling within an employee’s vacation period, the Employer has the choice of either:

  • UNION PRIVILEGES 8.01 It is agreed that the business representative of the Union shall be admitted during working hours, at reasonable times, to interview employees while on duty or to inspect working conditions; provided however, that such visits shall be calculated to cause a minimum of disturbance with the Employer's business and further, that the business representative shall report his presence to the Company on the occasion of each such visit.

  • Rights and Privileges All participants enrolled in courses pursuant to the CONTRACT shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges to which other CONTRACTOR students are entitled, including, but not limited to, special instruction, use of facilities on CONTRACTOR’s premises such as the libraries and learning centers, counseling, student body activities, and veterans’ benefits. CONTRACTOR’s representatives will provide academic counseling for participants and inform them of CONTRACTOR’s services available to them.

  • Privileges All privileges that may be asserted under applicable law, including, without limitation, privileges arising under or relating to the attorney-client relationship (including but not limited to the attorney-client and work product privileges), the accountant-client privilege, and privileges relating to internal evaluative processes.

  • Holiday 6.1 The Executive shall be entitled during the Employment to 30 working days holiday in each calendar year plus bank holidays. Holiday may only be taken at such time or times as the Chief Executive Officer shall approve. The Executive’s holiday entitlement shall be pro rated for the year in which the Employment begins and for the year in which the Employment ends.
