Holy Days Sample Clauses

Holy DaysA Long-term Occasional Teacher is allowed a leave of absence for the observance of recognized Holy Days.
Holy Days. A leave shall be granted for observance of a religious Holy Day.
Holy Days. Up to a maximum of three (3) school days shall be granted for observance of recognized Holy Days.
Holy Days. Subject to the approval of the Executive Officer Human Resources, or designate, a member shall be granted up to a maximum of three (3) days annually with pay for officially recognized religious holy days. In addition, a maximum of six (6) days without pay may be granted for officially recognized religious holy days.
Holy Days. (a) The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that employees required to work shifts shall have at least one of their holy days off. (b) Employees who are members of non-Christian religions are entitled to up to two days leave of absence without pay per calendar year to observe spiritual or holy days. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld. Employees may use banked overtime.
Holy DaysA Long-term Occasional Teacher shall be granted up to a maximum of three (3) school days in a school year for observance of recognized Holy Days that fall within the term of his/her assignment.
Holy Days. In recognition that certain statutory holidays are based on Christian Holy Days, and that employees may celebrate other Holy Days based on their bona-fide religion, The City shall permit employees to designate up to three (3) Holy Days in lieu of Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Christmas Day where regular work is normally performed on these days. The request shall be made in writing to their Exempt Supervisor no later than two (2) months prior to the requested day off or the statutory holiday that is being exchanged, whichever comes first. Once approved, the designated Holy Days shall be paid as a Statutory Holiday and the substituted Statutory Holidays shall be paid as regular days at the appropriate straight-time rate. The granting of time off for such designated Holy Days shall be at the Exempt Supervisor’s discretion, based on operational needs.
Holy Days. Leaves may be granted for major Religious Holy Days for members of that religion.
Holy Days. With two (2) weeks’ notice, employees will have the option to substitute up to two (2) of the General Holidays listed in this Collective Agreement for Holy Days generally recognized by followers of the employee’s sincerely held religious beliefs.

  • Pay Days (a) Pay periods shall be bi-weekly. The Employer will provide each employee with an itemized statement. (b) Upon termination, an employee will be paid her final pay and her vacation pay on the regular pay day.

  • Days Unless specified otherwise, any period of days mandated under a Note or this Revenue Sharing Agreement shall be determined by reference to calendar days, not business days, except that any payments, notices, or other performance falling due on a Saturday, Sunday, or federal government holiday shall be considered timely if paid, given, or performed on the next succeeding business day.

  • Business Days If any time period for giving notice or taking action hereunder expires on a day which is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday in the state in which the Company’s chief executive office is located, the time period shall be automatically extended to the business day immediately following such Saturday, Sunday or holiday.

  • Sick Days Employees will be provided with 6 sick days per calendar year. Sick days are paid at 75% of the employee’s step rate.
