Easter Sunday. No employee shall be re quired to work on Easter Sunday, provided that em ployees desiring not to be scheduled for work on Easter Sunday shall notify the Employer of such desire at least three (3) days in advance.
Easter Sunday. The Community Services Department will make every effort to schedule its regular full time employees off in observance of Easter. (July 2013)
Easter Sunday. Permanent and fixed term contract employees will be provided an additional day of paid leave for Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday. Effective January 1, 2005 all employees who work on Easter shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1½) of their hourly rate plus compensation time for each hour worked. Designated Staff members of the Youth Shelter who are “on-call” due to the unavailability of the Director and the Assistant shall receive a $100.00 allowance for covering the period from 5:00 pm on Friday to 9:00 am on Monday or a pro rata portion of cash allowance if the coverage is part of a weekend or if the weekend is covered by or divided between two or more employees. On holidays requiring on call status, the covering employee shall receive a $50.00 allowance for the coverage period from 5:00 pm the day before the holiday to 9:00 am the day after the holiday. The parties acknowledge that this “on-call” coverage is intended only for emergent or unusual situations.
Easter Sunday. 25.1 Where Easter Sunday is not a Public Holiday, work by full-time and part-time team members on Easter Sunday shall be voluntary, and where performed shall be paid at the rate double time despite the rate set out in sub-clause 22.4.
25.2 Time off in lieu of payment of the penalty rate prescribed for work on Easter Sunday pursuant to this clause may be provided if a team member so elects and it is agreed by The Reject Shop.
25.3 Such time in lieu must be taken at a mutually convenient time and within 4 weeks of the particular Easter Sunday, or where agreed between the Team Member and The Reject Shop, may be accumulated and taken as part of annual leave.
25.4 Time off in lieu must equate to the penalty rate.
25.5 Work by casual team members on Easter Sunday, where performed shall be paid at the rate of double time despite the rate set out in clause 22.5.
25.6 Where a store opens for trade on Easter Sunday and a full-time or part-time team member would ordinarily be rostered to work Easter Sunday, but that team member does not volunteer to work, they shall be entitled to the day off with payment for the day.
25.7 Where a store does not open for trade on Easter Sunday and a team member would ordinarily have been rostered to work that day, that team member shall be entitled to payment for the day.
25.8 Payment for time off under sub-clauses 24.10 and 24.11 shall be the base ordinary time rate of pay for the team member’s classification for the number of hours the team member would ordinarily have worked on the day.
Easter Sunday. In the event the Employer is not able to obtain enough qualified voluntary employees in the needed classifications, qualified employees in the needed classification shall be selected to work on Easter Sunday by order of inverse seniority.
Easter Sunday. Employees shall be paid two (2) times the Employee’s regular hourly rate for time worked on Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday. Regular Employees who are required to work on Easter Sunday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times their straight time hourly rate for all hours worked, but shall receive no other premium for hours worked on said day.
Easter Sunday. 44.9.1 Work on Easter Sunday shall be voluntary for full-time and part-time employees. Employees not wanting to work on this day shall be rostered to work their hours at some other time during the 2 or 4 week roster cycle and shall be paid the appropriate ordinary rate of pay.
44.9.2 Employees shall give Xxxx Xxxxx Bros at least 2 weeks notice if they do not wish to work on Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday. 6.2.1 Permanent and fixed term contract Employees will be provided an additional day of paid leave for Easter Sunday.
6.2.2 The day of paid leave will be made available to the Employee regardless of whether the Employee would normally be expected to work on that date.
6.2.3 The day of paid leave accrues on the date that Easter Sunday falls each calendar year.
6.2.4 The day of leave:
a) is not available to an Employee who is on any period of leave without pay;
b) is paid at the Base rate of pay;
c) can be added to annual leave or taken individually;
d) must be included in the Employee’s nominated preferences for clearance of leave in accordance with sub-clauses 6.22.1 e) and 6.22.2b);
e) must be taken in the calendar year in which it occurs;
f) will be forfeited if not taken in the year in which it occurs; and
g) is not to be paid out on termination of employment.
