Hour Assistance. In case of mechanical, electrical and/or electronic breakdown/defects or of accidents as a consequence of which the Vehicle cannot be operated, you must contact by telephone the rental station mentioned in the rental contract or the Rental Company Hotline under +00 0 00 00 00 00 within 24 hours. You will receive the assistance service of the manufacturer that is included in the price of your rental contract and the conditions of which are set forth on the Vehicle information sheet. In case of technical defects, our liability is limited to the assumption of the costs of the transport back home of the Hirer and of the passengers not exceeding limits of the number specified in the Vehicle registration document. It covers the assistance for the Vehicle and the persons transported in case of a mechanical defect or an accident. The assistance is applicable in all countries specified on the international insurance card. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Hirer has the option to choose an additional assistance service as described in the leaflet „Conditions d’assurances et d’assistance“ (additional accident and breakdown cover) that is handed over to the Hirer together with his/her contract. Service will provide a locksmith if such service is deemed necessary; however, service must make all judgments as to the necessity of such service. Service response will be prompt. Service cannot be held responsible for delays that are caused by actions beyond our control, including, but not limited to, severe weather or traffic conditions. Labor Coverage: The labor required to repair or replace all parts covered under this service contract shall be as defined in the ALLDATA or Xxxxxxxx software. Administrator will also cover up to one hour of diagnostic charges (up to sixty five dollars ($65)) per approved claim. Rental Coverage: Administrator will cover 1 day of rental for every 4 hours of covered labor (as defined in the ALLDATA or Xxxxxxxx software). Downtime waiting for parts or scheduling for service is not included. Administrator will reimburse purchaser up to $25.00 per day. The total rental coverage cannot exceed $150. Receipts will only be accepted from licensed rental car agencies. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Repair work performed without the authorization of Alpha Warranty Services. 2. If a failure occurs on a covered part within the first 30 days and 1,000 miles, the failure will be determined pre-existing condition. 3. Repairs required because of collision, abuse, operation without proper lubrication or coolant, road conditions, misuse, negligence, exposure, alterations, lift-kits, oversize tires, racing, accidents, fires, floods, riots, acts of vandalism, theft, or terrorism. Any other losses normally covered by causality insurance. 5. The replacement of service items, for instance: brake linings, clutch components are not covered. 6. Any repair of valves and/or piston rings where the malfunction is low compression and/or oil consumption. 7. Any part that was broken, was worn beyond serviceable limits, or making noise at time of purchase. 8. Damage caused by torn boots. 9. ANY PART OR LABOR COVERED UNDER EXISTING FACTORY OR EMISSIONS WARRANTIES. 10. Any wear or damage caused by failure to maintain the Vehicle under the standards of the manufacturer. 11. Air conditioning evacuation, recharge and/or conversion. 12. Pre-existing conditions are not covered under the terms of the Vehicle service Contract. The selling dealer must inspect and qualify for any Vehicle service Contract. Failures or breakdowns resulting from pre-existing conditions are the responsibility of the service Contract purchaser. 13. Vehicles that are used for commercial, rental, or delivery purposes. 14. Front end alignments including adjustments/alignments to Covered Repairs. 15. Repairs required due to overheating, regardless of the cause of overheating, or repairs required due to loss of fluids, regardless of the cause of the loss of fluids. ENGINE & BASIC COOLING: Internally lubricated parts to include: balance shaft bearing, balance shaft bushing, balance shaft, cam followers, engine mounts, dip stick tube, distributor drive gear, harmonic balancer, intake and exhaust manifolds, oil pump housing, rocker bushings, valve locks, valve retainers, valve seals, valve seats, cylinder barrels, eccentric shaft, engine torque strut, camshaft and bearings, lifters, rocker arms, rocker shaft, timing gears, timing chain, timing belt (timing belt must be serviced according to Manufacturer’s recommended specifications), pistons, piston rings and pins, connecting rods and bearings, crankshaft and main bearings, oil pump, pump gears and pickup screen, intake and exhaust valves, intake and exhaust valve springs/guides, push rods, valve springs, water pump, thermostat, electric radiator fan motor and fan clutch, coolant recovery retainer. The engine block, cylinder head(s), valve cover(s), timing cover and oil pan are covered only if damaged by the above internally lubricated parts.

  • Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.

  • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Mutual Assistance The Parties will do all things reasonably necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms and provisions of this Agreement and to aid and assist each other in carrying out such terms and provisions.

  • Educational Assistance Section 1. Tuition reimbursement shall be provided to employees covered by this collective bargaining AGREEMENT under the same terms and conditions, policies and procedures as the rest of Hennepin County and reflecting a county–wide pool for funding. See Hennepin County Tuition Reimbursement Policy Frequently Asked Questions Section 2. Where courses are required and certified by the appointing authority as essential to current job performance, such appointing authority shall grant 100% reimbursement for tuition, required fees and required study materials. Section 3. At the request of an employee, an Individual Development Plan shall be established. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.

  • Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Further Assistance Award Recipient will provide assistance reasonably requested by the Company in connection with actions taken by Award Recipient while employed by the Company, including but not limited to assistance in connection with any lawsuits or other claims against the Company arising from events during the period in which Award Recipient was employed by the Company.

  • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Emergency Assistance Both Parties shall exercise due diligence to avoid or mitigate an Emergency to the extent practical in accordance with applicable requirements imposed by the Standards Authority or contained in the PJM Tariffs and NYISO Tariffs. In avoiding or mitigating an Emergency, both Parties shall strive to allow for commercial remedies, but if commercial remedies are not successful or practical, the Parties agree to be the suppliers of last resort to maintain reliability on the system. For each hour during which Emergency conditions exist in a Party’s Balancing Authority Area, that Party (while still ensuring operations within applicable Reliability Standards) shall determine what commercial remedies are available and make use of those that are practical and needed to avoid or mitigate the Emergency before any Emergency Energy is scheduled in that hour.
