Hours of Service Relief. A. Unless otherwise agreed, pool crews may be called to make one or more turnaround trips, including Hours of Service Law relief, at their home terminal and away-from- home terminals. The terminal release rule(s) will not apply as these crews may operate into, out of, and through the designated terminal without release, without penalty, and without new day payments for the working pool crew. This pool may perform turnaround service between Superior and the following locations:  MP 113.2 on Hinckley Subdivision  MP 73.4 on Brainerd Subdivision  MP 137.6 on Lakes Subdivision B. Pool crews used to perform turnaround service in this manner at Superior will be paid the Superior-Northtown/Cass Lake Version A trip rate with overtime commencing after 8 hours plus the applicable overtime extender (regardless of miles run). C. All necessary relief work as a result of the Hours of Service Law will be conducted pursuant to existing agreements and practices, subject to BNSF’s continued right under existing agreements, to use yard, shuttle or extra board engineers to perform such work. D. Nothing contained in this agreement is intended to prohibit these ID pool engineers from being used on trains that traverse only part of the specified territory, provided engineers are then handled forward to the opposite terminal, or paid as if they had been. Likewise, nothing in this agreement is intended to prohibit these engineers from combining trains or exchanging trains with other engineers destined to the same terminal.

Hours of Service Relief. A. Extra crews from Oklahoma City shall protect turnaround hours of service relief for trains destined to Oklahoma City. If no extra crews are available or assigned at Oklahoma City, an Oklahoma City pool crew may be used to provide turnaround hours of service relief for trains destined to Oklahoma City. B. Carrier may use crews from the Chickasha - Wichita Pool to provide all turnaround hours of service relief for trains in this service that are destined to Wichita. Should pool service operating between Oklahoma City and Wichita increase to the point where Oklahoma City crews can efficiently protect turnaround hours of service relief for its trains destined for Wichita, the General Chairman and Labor Relations Director shall meet and discuss an independent operation. C. Regular or Extra crews used in this turnaround hours of service relief shall be considered called in combination deadhead/service and shall be paid as such. D. Nothing herein shall prevent the use of other crews to perform work currently permitted by prevailing agreements, including, but not limited to yard crews performing hours-of-service relief within road/yard service zones, pool crews performing through freight combined service/deadheads between terminals, road switchers handling trains within their zones and/or using a trainman from a following train to work a preceding train.

Hours of Service Relief. At Xxxxxx Springs, Hours of Service relief may be performed by pool freight Engineers in the following manner: a) If within the 25 mile zone, then that provision will apply. b) If outside the 25 mile zone, then the first out pool crew that operates on the side the train has laid down shall be used and shall either tie-up for rest or be deadheaded home. If tied up for rest, the Engineer will be first out after rest and not used again for Hours of Service relief on that trip. c) The Oakley extra board may be used on either side of Xxxxxx Springs for this service for trains that are headed toward Xxxxxx Springs. d) None of the above prevents the use of crews used in combination deadhead and service to handle such trains. 3.
Hours of Service Relief. Except as provided in (1) above, turnaround service/hours of service relief at both home and away-from-home terminals shall be handled by extra boards, if available, prior to using pool crews. Engineers used for this service may be used for multiple trips in one tour of duty in accordance with the designated collective bargaining agreement rules. Extra boards may handle this service in all directions out of a terminal.”
Hours of Service Relief. At points where yard crews are employed, combination road-yard service zones may be established within which yard engine crews may be used to perform specified service outside of switching limits under the following conditions: (1) Road-Yard Service Zones for purposes of this Section B are limited to a distance not to exceed 25 miles for the purpose of handling disabled trains or trains tied up under the Hours of Service Act. The distances referred to herein are to be computed from the present switching limits, except where the parties on individual properties may agree otherwise. (2) Within Road-Yard Service Zones, yard engine crews may be used to handle disabled road trains, or those tied up under the Hours of Service Act outside their final terminal and complete the work that would normally be handled by the crews of trains that have been disabled or tied up under the Hours of Service Law and are being brought into the terminal by those yard crews, without penalty to road crews. This paragraph does not apply to work train or wrecking service. (3) For such service yard engine crews shall be paid miles or hours, whichever is the greater, with a minimum of one hour for the class of service performed (except where existing agreements require payment at yard rates) for all time consumed outside of switching limits. This allowance shall be in addition to the regular yard pay and without any deduction there from for the time consumed outside of switching limits. Such payments are limited to an employee whose seniority date in engine or train service precedes November 1, 1985 and is not subject to general or other wage increases. (4) Nothing in this Section B is intended to impose restrictions with respect to handling disabled road trains or those tied up under the Hours of Service Act beyond the 25 mile road-yard service zones, established under this Section where restrictions did not exist prior to the date of this Agreement. Time consumed by yard engine crews in Road-Yard Service Zones established under this Article will not be subject to equalization as between road and yard service crews and/or employees.

  • Level of Service Complex case management with a provider focus is appropriate for members who either choose not to be actively involved or are unable to actively participate in their health care. Complex case management targets members with two (2) or more disease states who need assistance with care coordination, making preventive care appointments, or accessing care to address the members’ chronic health conditions or members who have had an inpatient hospital stay in the last ninety (90) days or members with high dollar claims of over fifty thousand dollars (>$50,000) in six (6) months. The focus is on working with the providers to meet the needs of the individual through communication with the PMP (if applicable), other providers, and the member’s natural support system. The goal is to help members gain optimum health or improved functional capability, in the right setting and in a cost-effective manner. Complex case management with provider focus is the active coordination by the Contractor of care and services between providers while navigating the extensive systems and resources required for the member. It involves comprehensive assessment, determination of available benefits, development and implementation of a complex case management plan directed at the chronic health conditions. At a minimum, the Contractor must provide complex case management services for members discharged from an inpatient psychiatric, drug overdose, or substance abuse hospitalization, for no fewer than ninety (90) calendar days following that inpatient hospitalization discharge. The Contractor must also provide complex case management services for any member at risk for inpatient psychiatric or substance abuse re -hospitalization. Care managers must contact members during an inpatient hospitalization or as soon as practicable upon receiving notification of a member’s inpatient behavioral health hospitalization. The care manager must work with the hospital discharge planner, provider case manager and/or natural supports (i.e. family) to ensure that an outpatient follow-up appointment is scheduled to occur no later than seven (7) calendar days following the inpatient behavioral health hospitalization discharge and transportation is not a barrier to attending the appointment. Complex case management with provider focus includes all of the services and benefits from disease management and care management. In addition,
