Inability to report to work. When the employee’s work area remains open but the employee is unable to report to work because of inclement weather, the time loss is considered leave without pay. Even when inclement weather is not declared, if an employee makes reasonable efforts to report to work as scheduled but is unable to do so due to severe weather conditions, the resulting absence or late report will not count as an attendance occurrence. In either of these cases, employees upon request shall be granted use of accrued vacation or compensation time.

Inability to report to work. When the employee’s work area remains open but the employee is unable to report to work because of conditions related to modified operations (including but not limited to public transportation closures)inclement weather, the time loss is considered leave without pay. Even when modified operationsinclement weather is not declared, if an employee makes reasonable efforts to report to work as scheduled but is unable to do so due to natural disasters, pandemics, local and regional emergencies, and period of severe inclement weather conditions, the resulting absence or late report will not count as an attendance occurrence. In either of these cases, employees upon request shall be granted use of accrued vacation or compensation time.
Inability to report to work. A procedure will be developed annually and distributed to all employees.
Inability to report to work. Employees who are unable to report for their scheduled shift due to personal illness or emergency, will provide the Employer with notice at the earliest possible time to allow the Employer to cover the absence. Exchange of Shifts‌ Employees may exchange shifts with the prior written authorization of the Employer, provided that a minimum of 48 hours of notice is given. There will be no increased cost to the Employer as a result of a shift exchange. This provision is not intended to be used for extensive and/or ongoing shift exchanges between employees.
Inability to report to work. A. An employee prevented from reporting for work by reason of sickness, or other good cause, shall notify the Plant office not later than two (2) hours before the start of his shift. B. Inability to work so reported shall be deemed to continue until express notice that the employee is again able to report, such notice to be transmitted during normal business hours. Without such advance notice, the Company does not assume any obligation to provide work on the employee's return. C. An employee failing, without good cause, to comply with the provisions of this section shall be subject to discipline.

  • Return to Work (a) The parties recognize the duty of reasonable accommodation for individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agree that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit the Employer and the Union to discharge that duty. To that end, the Home and the Union agree to cooperate in complying with the Ontario Human Rights Code. (b) The Home and the Union agree to ongoing and timely communication by all participants. For the purposes of expediting communication the Home and the Union agree that participants will use electronic communication where available. (c) If an employee becomes disabled, including WSIB, with the result that she is unable to perform the regular functions of her position, the Employer may determine a special classification and salary, with the hope of providing an opportunity for continued employment. Positions established under this article will not constitute new classifications and shall lapse upon the termination, resignation, or retirement of the employee in question. (d) Prior to any disabled employee returning to work from a disability including WSIB to a modified/light/alternate work program, the Employer will notify and meet with members of the bargaining unit executive to consult on a back to work program for the worker. Any agreement resulting from these discussions which conflicts with the collective agreement shall, subject to agreement by the Union, prevail over any provision of this agreement in the event of a conflict. Nothing in this language obligates the Employer to establish a modified/ light/alternative work program, except as required by law.

  • Duty to Report Tenant immediately shall report any problems immediately to Landlord. Even a few bedbugs can rapidly multiply to create a major infestation that can spread to other premises. Manager will then be given access to the leased premises for inspection within 24 hours of Tenant being given notice.

Upon appointment of the arbitrator, the appealing party shall, within five (5) days after notice of appointment, forward to the arbitrator, with a copy to the School Board, the submission of the grievance which shall include the following: 1.   • Duty to report Force Majeure Event 21.5.1 Upon occurrence of a Force Majeure Event, the Affected Party shall by notice report such occurrence to the other Party forthwith. Any notice pursuant hereto shall include full particulars of: (a) the nature and extent of each Force Majeure Event which is the subject of any claim for relief under this Article 21 with evidence in support thereof; (b) the estimated duration and the effect or probable effect which such Force Majeure Event is having or will have on the Affected Party’s performance of its obligations under this Agreement; (c) the measures which the Affected Party is taking or proposes to take for alleviating the impact of such Force Majeure Event; and (d) any other information relevant to the Affected Party’s claim. 21.5.2 The Affected Party shall not be entitled to any relief for or in respect of a Force Majeure Event unless it shall have notified the other Party of the occurrence of the Force Majeure Event as soon as reasonably practicable, and in any event no later than 10 (ten) days after the Affected Party knew, or ought reasonably to have known, of its occurrence, and shall have given particulars of the probable material effect that the Force Majeure Event is likely to have on the performance of its obligations under this Agreement. 21.5.3 For so long as the Affected Party continues to claim to be materially affected by such Force Majeure Event, it shall provide the other Party with regular (and not less than weekly) reports containing information as required by Clause 21.5.1, and such other information as the other Party may reasonably request the Affected Party to provide.

  • CERTIFICATION OF NO ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS OR WORK 8.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that no asbestos containing materials or work is included within the scope of the Work. The Contractor shall take whatever measures it deems necessary to insure that all employees, suppliers, fabricators, material men, subcontractors, or their assigns, comply with this requirement. 8.2 The Contractor shall ensure that Texas Department of Health licensed individuals, consultants or companies are used for any required asbestos work including asbestos inspection, asbestos abatement plans/specifications, asbestos abatement, asbestos project management and third-party asbestos monitoring.

  • Access to Work District representatives shall at all times have access to the Work, wherever it is, in preparation or in progress. Contractor shall provide safe and proper facilities for such access.

  • Modified Work/Return to Work (a) The normal retirement age is sixty-five (65) years of age. The Employer may continue to employ an employee beyond retirement age, if the Employer determines that the employee can satisfactorily perform the requirements of her classification. (Effective December 12, 2006, the parties agree this sub- section no longer applies).   • Time Devoted to Work In performing the services contemplated under this Agreement, the services and the hours Consultant is to work on any given day will be on a mutually agreed upon basis, except for attendance at scheduled meetings, and City will rely upon Consultant to put in such number of hours as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the spirit and purpose of this Agreement. City understands that Consultant is engaged in the same or similar activities for others and that City may not be Consultant’s sole client or customer. However, Consultant represents and warrants that it is under no obligation or restriction, nor will it assume any such obligation or restriction, that would in any way interfere or be inconsistent with the services to be performed under this Agreement.
