Use of Accrued Vacation. Except as hereinafter provided, every effort shall be made to arrange vacation schedules so that each employee will take as much vacation in each year as accrued to them in that year.
Use of Accrued Vacation. Vacation will be accrued, but may not be used during the first six (6) months of probation, unless arrangements were made prior to the start of employment.
Use of Accrued Vacation. Except as herein provided, every effort shall be made to arrange vacation schedules so that each employee will take at least half of his or her vacation time accrued during the calendar year. The County acknowledges that an employee may utilize the remaining half of his or her accrued vacation time towards the limits set forth in section 6.2 and plan for the authorized cash out as stated in section 6.5.
Use of Accrued Vacation. Subject to subsection 8.7, vacations must be taken in the vacation year following the year in which the vacation was accrued.
Use of Accrued Vacation. No unit member shall carry over vacation in excess of two (2) years’ vacation to another fiscal year except as described in Article 11.2.9 (b) and (f). The District may, in consultation with the unit member, establish a plan for reduction of any excess vacation existing as of July 1, 2003.
Use of Accrued Vacation. Accrued vacation hours may be used in no smaller than one quarter-hour increments, rounding up to the nearest quarter-hour, with the number of hours in the employee's normal shift to be charged for each day of use. Accrued vacation hours may be used, deducted and compensated only for use falling within the employee's scheduled work hours. Paid vacation hours are compensated at the employee's regular wage rate. Except as provided in Sections 20.2.4, 20.3.2, and 20.6.1 for disability, OFLA leave and military leave, an employee must exhaust all accrued vacation prior to using any unpaid leave from work.
Use of Accrued Vacation. During the period August 10, 2004 through September 30, 2004 XxXxxx will use, and thereby be compensated for, as much of his accrued paid vacation as is practicable, unless required to perform duties related to the transition of his former job responsibilities. Any unused accrued vacation will be paid as soon as practicable following the Retirement Date.
Use of Accrued Vacation. An employee still within their initial probationary introductory period, may use vacation as it is accrued and be paid at their hourly base rate of pay for their regularly scheduled hours per day. An employee who does not successfully complete probation their introductory period and is terminated, is not entitled to any vacation leave. No employee may carry forward, beyond any calendar year, more than one hundred twenty (120) hours of vacation. All excess accrued vacation credits will be lost. Employees may file a written request with their supervisormanagement for an extension of vacation accruals. The Executive Director or their designee may grant an extension based on extenuating circumstances. This extension is at the sole discretion of the AuthorityPCHA and is not subject to grievance. An employee who is separated from employment who has provided a minimum of two (2) weeks notice shall be paid their accumulated vacation in a lump sum payment on the next regular scheduled pay date. An employee, who is separated for cause or who does not provide a minimum two (2) weeks notice of their separation from employment will not be reimbursed for unused vacation time. Under no circumstances may an employee elect to take unpaid time off when vacation or floating holiday leave are available, except as required by law. The AuthorityPCHA recognizes the fact that an employee may be justified, under some circumstances, in accepting casual outside employment to be performed outside of working hours if no conflict with the Authority’sPCHA’s interest is involved.
Use of Accrued Vacation. All employees, including probationary employees, may use their accrued vacation to cover their four (4) days absence in December. employees who have more than two years of accrued vacation as of December 1st shall be required to use accrued vacation leave for those work days when the District is shut down.
Use of Accrued Vacation
