Compensation Time. Cafeteria workers will be paid for the actual number of hours they work, or, three hours, whichever is greater for days when schools are closed immediately following a delayed opening announcement.
Compensation Time. Except in an emergency situation overtime and comp time shall have prior approval of the employee’s’ supervisor. In a situation where that is not possible it shall be reported to the employee’s supervisor on the next workday.
(i) Comp time shall be accrued at the appropriate hourly rate.
(ii) No employee shall earn and use more than thirty two (32) hours of comp time in any one school year.
(iii) Comp time may be used in quarter-day increments, but shall not be used for a split shift.
(iv) Comp time may be used anytime during the year (July 1-June 30) and must be used in the year it was earned.
(v) If comp time is not used by June 30 of the school year it was earned the employee shall be paid the comp time at their regular rate of pay.
Compensation Time. Any article in the contract referring to the member option of receiving compensation time (i.e., Article 3.8.1, 4.2.2.1.3, etc.) for work in additional to their contracted salary, the member shall have the following option of:
3.13.1 using the compensation time during the school year in which it was earned.
3.13.1.1 In order to request a comp day, the unit member must provide advance notice to their site administrator. The site administrator shall promptly review such requests and inform the unit member whether comp day(s) can be scheduled as requested by the unit member. If the day(s) cannot be scheduled as requested, the site administrator and the unit member will meet to discuss the reasons why the day(s) were not approved and to identify alternate date(s).
3.13.2 receiving payment (hours paid out at Appendix A, Section K extra duty teaching rate) for unused time, as of June 30th, in the August pay warrant (or final pay warrant of District service, if applicable).
Compensation Time. In the event a supervisor requests or directs that an Employee work beyond his/her specified working hours, the District shall grant, at the Employee's request, compensating time off in lieu of pay. Compensating time off shall be granted at the mutual convenience of the District and the Employee. All compensating time can only be granted with prior written approval from a direct supervisor. Compensation Time requested during the last week of school will be only granted for exceptional situations. Compensation Time does not transfer from one fiscal budget to the next. Any Compensation Time remaining at the end of the fiscal year will be converted to pay or requested as Compensation Time by August 31.
Compensation Time. All employees shall receive pay for all hours worked at appropriate rates set forth. Employees shall be paid the “comp time” in full at the next scheduled pay day, if all information regarding overtime is given to the office of the Town Clerk/Administrator the Monday preceding the pay day. It will then be taken to the Mayor and Council to be approved at the next regular Council Meeting. The only time overtime will be held until Mayor and Council approves same first is if the amount exceeds the bargained amount set forth by this agreement. There shall be no compensation time, except where the overtime of the bargaining unit exceeds a gross total of that bargained for in any calendar year as agreed upon in this contract for the calendar year. The Employer may then pay the appropriate overtime or issue compensation time of equivalent hours to hours for
(i. e. one (1) hour work at time and one half (1 ½) equals one and one half hours comp time.
Compensation Time. All compensation time must be pre-approved by the building principal/supervisor.
Compensation Time. An Employee will be allowed to build compensation time in lieu of overtime to a maximum of thirty (30) hours accumulated in a thirty (30) day period. Any overtime worked to be accumulated for compensation time will be at overtime rate.
Compensation Time. An employee, may earn compensatory time off at the rate of time and one-half (1.5X) per hour worked overtime in lieu of overtime pay. Compensatory time off shall be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the Director or his/her designee and the employee. Such time cannot accumulate in excess of forty (40) hours. Overtime must be paid for any time accumulated in excess of forty (40) hours. Compensation at the rate of time and one half (1.5X) will be paid to employees for compensatory time not taken upon their separation from the County.
Compensation Time. Nurses who are requested to stay longer than thirty (30) minutes outside of the school day may have the option of taking an equal amount of time as compensation time. This time would occur only when students are not in the school building, such as Parent/Teacher Conference days. Compensation time would be taken with the permission of the building principal/and or Director of Student Support Services.
Compensation Time. Employee is not eligible for compensation time.
