Incremental Advancement. A fixed-term staff member who has a period of continuous service in a classification which has an incremental structure shall be entitled to progress through that structure in the same way as a staff member engaged as a continuing staff member in the same or similar classification under this Agreement.
Incremental Advancement.
8.3.1 Each level of the structure has varying pay steps which provide for yearly service increments within a level. Such increments are payable subject to satisfactory performance but will not be unreasonably withheld by the employer without due process.
8.3.2 For the purposes of establishing the entitlement of an employee to a yearly pay increment a year's service shall constitute 1,976 hours of service.
8.3.3 Progression from one level to a higher level is either by appointment to such higher level as a result of vacancy at that level or the employer requiring an employee to perform at a higher level in accordance with the classification criteria set out in clause 8.2.4.
8.3.4 An employee may be appointed to a higher level without having progressed through all pay steps within a lower level.

6.1 Advancement to the next increment within the appropriate Level will take place on the anniversary of a School Assistant’s first appointment or in the case of non-continuous service, after the completion of the equivalent of a School Year. A School Assistant employed for 50 per cent or less of full-time working hours will be required to complete 24 months’ service before advancement.
Incremental Advancement. 18.1 Where provision exists to progress to a second or subsequent service/pay point increment (within the classification structure as outlined in Schedule 2 of the Agreement), as applicable, the Employee shall be required to accrue 1824 hours’ service at each increment level before receiving the next increment advancement. For the purposes of this clause 1824 (assumed to be equivalent to 12 months of full time work) hours service will include all paid hours of employment including paid leave, additional shift hours, recall hours and overtime.
Incremental Advancement. All Employees shall advance from one Step to another on July 1st annually after having completed six (6) months of service in their position.
