INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT. An Individual Development Plan (IDP) will be reviewed and updated annually and discussed in conjunction with performance evaluation discussions. The Employer will assist the supervisor and the employee in the development of the IDP, upon request, and will provide access to appropriate sources of formal training (e.g. web sites, catalogs). Upon an employee’s assignment to a new or different position, the Employer will inform him or her of the purpose of an IDP, and develop an IDP that outlines the skills or knowledge required for performance in the position and recognizes the employee’s developmental interests. Additionally, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to provide training and developmental activities identified on each employee's approved IDP when such training is related to the employee's official job duties.

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT. The Parties to this Agreement recognises that the opportunity of individual development and growth in critical to the success of the change. As a result al parties are committed to rewarding these behaviours with increased access to higher grades in the existing Vinidex Grading Structure. In practice this may not result in higher grades being made available to Employees above what is currently in place, but it will increase the opportunity for all Employees to obtain these higher grades

Additionally, the Agency shall make every reasonable effort to provide training and developmental activities identified on each employee’s approved IDP when such training is related to the employee’s official job duties, subject to the availability of space and funds.

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT. 28.1 The Parties to this Agreement recognise the desire for Employees seeking career and progression pathways. The classifications and rates of pay set out in this Agreement reward and reflect experience and qualifications associated with the tasks and responsibilities of each position. 28.2 The Employer recognises there is a mutual benefit in having a highly skilled and flexible workforce for the efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness of Buildsafe. Where an Employee elects to undertake additional training that is supported by their line manager, additional training subsidies in recognition of the completion and skills obtained as a result of the training, may be provided to the Employee.
INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT. 3.1 At the commencement of the performance assessment cycle the Manager and the employee will determine and agree on the training and development to be completed by the employee during the performance assessment cycle. This information will be articulated in the Individual Development Plan of the IPAD scheme and a record made when completed. 3.2 The APVMA is committed to providing training and development opportunities that will develop employees, enhance their career prospects within the APVMA and contribute to the achievement of corporate and business objectives. Appropriate funding will be provided through sectional budgets, the study encouragement scheme, individual development awards and corporately.
