Individual Professional Development. The Board shall provide individual professional development funding each Academic Year as follows:
18.7.1. $1,400 to each Tenured, tenurable, Conditional Tenurable and Limited-Term Employee with academic rank.
18.7.2. $700 to each Chair, in addition to the $1,400 stipulated above, in accordance with Article 27.9.1.
18.7.3. $700 or a prorated amount thereof, to each Associate Xxxx and Academic Director, in addition to the $1,400 stipulated above, in accordance with Article 27.9.1.
18.7.4. $1,400 to each Full-Time and Limited-Term Laboratory Instructor. Such individual funding shall be made available for professional development purposes as outlined on the Professional Development Expense Claim Form. Such individual funding shall be available in an account and all unspent funds shall accumulate for up to four (4) years.

Individual Professional Development. Teachers will determine how to improve their own professional knowledge, expertise, and growth. These efforts should relate to goals specified in the teachers' Individual Professional Development Plans (IPDP), which is used for certification and licensure renewal/upgrade.
Individual Professional Development. Individual professional development is defined as education, training, or the acquisition of knowledge related to the actively employed adjunct faculty member’s teaching discipline. Funding may be used for subscriptions, journals, books, computer software and supplies, CD-ROM disks, video/audio recordings, periodicals, publications, memberships, and/or workshops/conferences appropriately related to the academic discipline in which the adjunct teaches. Individual professional development funding shall not be used to purchase equipment, nor shall these funds be used to purchase supplies which are available through routine college purchasing processes.
Individual Professional Development. The district will fund each individual professional development plan to a maximum of $1,600 per year. Funds may accumulate for the life of this agreement. When the district offers training and/or leadership activities, the district will apply for clock hour approval. Any funds left on April 1 in the last year of the contract cycle will be pooled to be used for professional development, including group attendance at trainings. These funds must be expended by June 30 of that year.
Individual Professional Development. The school will budget RM 1900 per year per full time employee for his/her professional development from the time of employment. A part-time employee will receive a prorated amount based on their part-time work percentage for that year. Unused funds can be held over from year to year but may not exceed RM 3800. Staff cannot draw from future years. The employee may not use professional development funds during the last semester prior to completion of his/her term of employment. If the administration requires the employee to attend a professional development session, the school will cover the employee’s total cost of attendance; funds may also be drawn from individual’s professional development fund.
Individual Professional Development. This area includes individually determined professional growth activities that are often oriented to a particular subject area. They can be from school improvement plans, but do not replace them. They are the items that have been traditionally identified/prioritized by the individual together with their supervisor and included in the IDP. They will usually be linked to district or building School Improvement Plan priorities and should be linked to newly identified educator skills and are focused toward increased student success.
