Labor Relations Committee. Sec 28.1 The Superintendent with or without a designee such as Director of Personnel, and XXXX president with another XXXX officer may meet once each month as a means of establishing ongoing communications and sharing of mutual concerns and interests.
Labor Relations Committee. There shall be a Labor Relations Committee comprised of three (3) members designated by the Union President and three (3) members designated by the Fire Rescue Administrator to serve on this committee. The committee shall meet upon request of either party quarterly unless mutually agreed to by both parties. The purpose of the meetings shall be to improve communications and discuss problems and objectives of mutual concern.
Labor Relations Committee. A Labor Relations Committee will meet in September, January, and May of each school year.
A. The UNION shall determine the composition of its committee provided, however, that no more than six (6) Employees may attend.
B. The ADMINISTRATION may have no more than six (6) representatives attend.
C. Employees who attend Labor Relations Committee meetings shall be permitted reasonable time off from their duties for attendance.
D. It is understood that the purpose of these meetings is to establish and maintain communication with Employees and to consider recommendations for improving Employee working conditions, increasing efficiency, and solving procedural and contractual disputes.
E. The UNION and ADMINISTRATION shall prepare an Agenda for the meetings which shall be exchanged in advance of the meeting date, and only Agenda items will be discussed unless both parties consent to the discussion of addition issues.
Labor Relations Committee. Labor Relations Committee meetings shall be scheduled not more frequently than once every three months at the request of either party or more frequently as agreed by the parties. Persons who are specialists in the subject matter under discussion may be brought into Labor Relations Committee meetings with notice to the other party. The Association members of the Committee shall consist of two (2) members elected by the membership and the Association President or designee. The Authority members of the committee shall consist of the Chief of Police, representatives from Human Resources, and up to two (2) additional members selected by the Chief Operating Officer, or designee. At least three (3) days in advance of such scheduled meetings, each party will submit to the other party any proposed items for the agenda.
Labor Relations Committee. A joint committee of College administration and FLCC-GRADE leadership will meet regularly to discuss issues such as, but not limited to: professional development, the assignment of desks and office space to adjunct faculty, mentors for new adjunct faculty, on-line/directory listing of adjunct faculty, and communications with adjunct faculty.
Labor Relations Committee. There is hereby established a Labor Relations Committee which shall consist of not more than four (4) persons from each party, with each party naming its own representatives to the Committee. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly upon the call of either party and at such other times as the parties may mutually agree. Persons representing either party who are specialists in a subject matter under discussion may be brought into Committee meetings by agreement of the parties.
Labor Relations Committee. The Association shall appoint a committee of up to six (6) employees representing the elementary, middle and high school levels to meet with the Superintendent's designee four (4) times per year, at a time convenient to both parties, for the purpose of reviewing safety matters, personnel matters and the administration of the contract. These meetings will in no way bypass the negotiations or grievance procedures. Further, the party requesting the meeting shall submit to the other, at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting, an agenda enumerating specific topics to be discussed.
Labor Relations Committee. 1. The Superintendent and the MEA President may each bring up to four (4) employees to meet during the school year as a means of establishing ongoing communications and sharing of mutual concerns and interests.
2. The Superintendent and the MEA president shall establish a meeting schedule on an annual basis. Meetings may be monthly or quarterly dependent upon mutual agreement between the Superintendent and MEA president. Meetings may be canceled by mutual agreement.
3. Scheduled meetings will be for the purpose of discussing ongoing labor-management issues, reviewing the contract, and recommending to the District and the Association solutions, or interventions necessary to continue the collaborative efforts by both parties. It is expressly understood by the parties that the committee shall have no authority to negotiate terms and conditions of employment or modify or amend any provision of this Agreement, nor shall it have authority to adjust grievances.
Labor Relations Committee. 14.01 A Labor Relations Committee (“LRC”) shall be established, consisting of the building/department representatives identified in Article 13, the local OAPSE President, and up to two (2) other bargaining unit members selected by the OAPSE President and selected members of the Administration designated by the Superintendent. Meetings will be held on a “request” basis and can be called by either party. The function of the Committee is to discuss employee problems that are relative to the current negotiated contract, employee problems outside the terms of the contract, to interpret Board rules and contract terms and to provide a regular vehicle for the discussion and possible correction of employee problems.
14.02 The LRC cannot be used to attempt to negotiate or re-negotiate an existing contract or items previously agreed to.
Labor Relations Committee. The Union will establish a two (2) member Labor Relations Committee consisting of members from the Bargaining Committee, which will meet as agreed with the designated representative(s) of the Board to discuss and study matters of mutual interest and advantage concerning the Romeo Community Schools. The Council Representative of the Union and the Internal Representative may also attend these meeting, if requested by the Union. Meetings will be scheduled by mutual agreement. The party requesting the meeting will submit a prepared agenda, which may be added to by the other party. Only items on the agenda prior to the meeting will be discussed. The purpose of the meetings will be to:
