Local Meetings. The University will provide release time of up to one (1) hour for bargaining unit members to attend local meetings not to exceed once a month.
Local Meetings. Union Work Site Leaders assigned to any shift may be granted time off without pay to attend Union meetings, excluding the Union Coordinator who will be granted the time off without pay, not to exceed three (3) hours in duration:

Refusal of either party to meet on a given subject does not constitute a contract violation.

The President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Union shall be allowed reasonable time off to attend not to exceed two (2) regular meetings and one (1) special meeting per month of the local Union. The Chief shall be given written notice at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of such regular meetings and must consent to these Union officers being granted time off for any special meetings.

Local Meetings. Management and local CWU Representatives will meet at least monthly to discuss contract specific issues, such as new business, site facilities, health and safety, training and development and to jointly resolve any local issues. These arrangements will operate to make sure resolution is achieved as close to the issue, and as swiftly, as possible.
