Mandated Trainings. All classified employees will be required to complete trainings as required by state legislative mandates and/or Board policies.

Mandated Trainings. For the 2022-2023 school year, teachers will complete all Federal, State and Local mandated trainings by October 1. For subsequent school years, such trainings shall be completed by September 15, and the training coursework will be shared with the teachers the first week of July. A total of two (2) hours of time will be given to the teachers during the beginning of the year institute days to complete the training.
Mandated Trainings. State-Mandated Trainings shall occur during the workday when possible. The parties acknowledge that simultaneous scheduling may not always be possible or practical. State-Mandated Trainings completed through an electronic format such as Vector, shall continue to be completed by Bargaining Unit Members as part of their professional responsibilities.
Mandated Trainings. Both parties recognize that there are certain state mandated trainings that employees must complete on an annual basis. Currently these trainings are completed by employees through a series of online modules provided by a state approved vendor (Xxxxxx). Employees will receive notification of the legislatively mandated annual trainings they are required to complete and the deadline to complete these trainings at the beginning of the school year. Every bargaining unit employee who successfully completes each required training module within 30 calendar days from the first duty day of the school year shall receive a $240 stipend. Employees who do not complete the legislatively mandated annual trainings within the 30-calendar day time period as described above, will not be eligible to be paid the $240 stipend, but will still be required to complete these trainings as soon as possible. The District shall make every effort to provide the links to the requisite training prior to the first duty day for teachers to report in August. If the links are not made available by the first day of service, the 30-day window to receive compensation shall be extended by each day the link distribution is delayed.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • General Training 417. The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee. The foregoing includes but is not limited to mandatory continuing education and/or training requirements.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING 1. The State agrees to provide advice and counseling to employees with respect to career advancement opportunities and agency developments which have an impact on their careers.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Preventive Maintenance The Contractor shall provide necessary preventive maintenance, required testing and inspection, calibration and/or other work necessary to maintain the equipment in complete operational condition during the warranty period.
