MEETING ROOMS AND BULLETIN BOARDS. 1. UPTE shall be granted use of general purpose meeting rooms. Such use shall be arranged in accordance with the usual practice for employee organizations and will not be unreasonably denied. Where the usual practice involves providing advance notice to a designated campus/hospital/LBNL, UPTE shall observe such practice. Except for LBNL, room reservations shall not be canceled by the University except where unforeseen circumstances require the room to be used for purposes such as teaching, or patient care-related purposes or staff conferences. If a reserved room is canceled, the University will attempt to provide a comparable alternative. 2. UPTE shall have access to general purpose bulletin boards and shall have the use of those bulletin boards subject to campus custom, usage and practice. Any materials posted must be dated and initialed by the union representative responsible for the posting. At those locations where the University is responsible for posting material on bulletin boards, the University will post copies of the UPTE-provided material within one (1) business day.

At those locations where the University is responsible for posting material on bulletin boards, the University will post copies of the Teamsters Local 2010 provided material within one business day.

The Association shall make advance arrangements for such use with the designated campus/Laboratory office. a. The University shall approve or deny an Association request for an available meeting room within a reasonable period of time. The University will not unreasonably deny prearranged use of such meeting rooms except where unforeseen circumstances require the room to be used for teaching or patient care-related purposes, including staff conferences. If a reserved room is canceled, the University will attempt to provide a comparable alternative. b. The Association may schedule classrooms and conference rooms outside of patient care areas for those times when such rooms are not used for teaching or patient care-related purposes and when Nurse lounges would not be large enough or would otherwise be unsuitable for a given Association meeting. 2. The Association shall have access to general-purpose bulletin boards and shall have the use of those bulletin boards set forth in Appendix F. At those locations where the University is responsible for posting material on bulletin boards, the University will promptly post copies of the CNA-provided material. 3. The University and the Association shall, within thirty (30) calendar days of the conclusion of bargaining, meet and update Appendix F, Rooms and Boards for each facility.

A copy of all materials will be sent to the County Commissioners and/or their representative when posted. B. Upon prior request, the County will provide space, when available, for Union meetings.

Such rooms may be reserved by the designated UAPD representative or xxxxxxx. 2. Management will not unreasonably deny prearranged use of such meeting rooms. If a reserved room is cancelled, Management will strive to provide a comparable alternative. If such a cancellation occurs within one (1) business day of the scheduled reservation, Management will post a notice advising of the cancellation and new room location, if a comparable alternative was secured. Such notice shall be prominently displayed outside of the originally reserved meeting room. 3. The Union shall have access to designated general-purpose bulletin boards subject to campus custom, usage, and practice, in addition to those bulletin boards set forth in Appendix 4: Designated Bulletin Boards in accordance with local access rules and procedures. The UAPD representative or xxxxxxx responsible for a posting must date and initial any materials posted and must provide a copy of all materials posted to the appropriate University representative at the location at the time of posting. At those locations where the University is responsible for posting material on bulletin boards, the University will post copies of the UAPD-provided material within one (1) business day.

MEETING ROOMS AND BULLETIN BOARDS. 27.1 The Association may request use of available meeting rooms at the Hospital for prescheduled regular meetings for the purpose of conducting business related to the internal affairs of the bargaining unit or administration of the collective bargaining agreement. Requests for meeting room use shall be made in advance through the Human Resources Department and shall be granted according to the Hospital’s established meeting room policy. 27.2 The Association shall be permitted to post the following types of notice on bulletin boards to be located in mutually agreed upon non‐patient care areas of each department, including the nursing office: a. Association meeting notices b. Association election notices c. Notices of appointment to offices d. Notices of Association social and business affairs e. Notices of education and professional development
