MEMBERSHIP IN PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS. 36.01 The Employer shall pay membership fees in professional organizations for employees who are required by legislation to maintain membership in a professional association in order to perform the duties of their position.

The University shall reimburse professional fees to members who are required as a condition of employment, to have a certification, license, or membership in a professional association in order to perform their duties. People and Resources will include in the job posting a reference to any employment requirement and the Department Head shall include the requirement in employment letters of offer.
MEMBERSHIP IN PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS. The School District shall pay the yearly membership dues for three (3) professional association chosen by the Director and approved by the School Board, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed by the School Board.

Upon presentation of official xxxxxxxx, the payment of dues for membership for attorneys in the Oregon Bar Associations shall be paid by the Employer on behalf of its workers. Such payments shall include any accompanying financial obligations such as insurance coverage which is required of participating members and all insurance premiums which attorneys incur by virtue of the professional exposure they face through their employment with SEIU Local 503, OPEU.

Each person who wishes to become a member of the State and National Association shall have full cost of his/her dues reimbursed up to five hundred dollars ($500) for each school year by the School System. MEMBERSHIP IN PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS. Where membership in a professional association is required by the University of an eligible member as defined in Table 12, such membership will be paid by the University. In certain cases, it may be feasible for the University to obtain an institutional membership in lieu of underwriting the memberships of individual members. Inquiries as to eligibility should be referred to the Associate Vice-President, Human Resources. Human Resources will include in the job posting a reference to any employment requirement to hold membership in professional associations. In the event that the Hospital requires an employee to maintain membership in both a professional association and a governing college, the Hospital shall reimburse employees for the amount of fees for membership in the professional association. The School District shall pay the yearly membership dues of the Superintendent for Pennsylvania School Boards Association, National School Boards Association, Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators, American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Pennsylvania Chapter of Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the University of Pennsylvania Study Council. The School District shall also pay the membership dues of Superintendent for such other professional, community and civic associations chosen by District Superintendent and approved by the School Board, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
