Merit Increments. 14.3.1 All salary increments (as distinct from negotiated salary adjustments) are not automatic, and are awarded on the basis of meritorious performance of the duties assigned pursuant to Article 12 and according to the Procedures Pertaining to the Annual Assessment of Academic Staff recommended by the General Promotions Committee and approved by the President.

Merit Increments. Maintain existing formulae for determining the Merit Increments pools available to FEC (1.2 per eligible FAC and FSO, respectively), LIB (1.2 per eligible LIB), ATSEC (1.2 per eligible ATS), and APOs (1.1 per eligible APO).
Merit Increments. May be granted as follows: For exceptional merit, increments of varying amounts may be granted beyond the regular salary increment. Such a special merit increment may be continued indefinitely or it may be granted for one year only. A list of teachers now receiving merit increments will be furnished to the Federation by October 1st of the contract year and reasons for the grant will be specified. Any additional awards made during the school year will be similarly furnished within fifteen (15) days of the award date.
Merit Increments. Unit members who have worked (a) worked in the School District for a minimum of five consecutive years, and (b) had consecutive annual performance evaluations of “excellent” in the two prior years, shall be entitled to receive Increments I through III on an accelerated basis, and shall also be eligible to receive Increment IV. Employees who meet these requirement shall receive the increments as follows: Years of Service Increment Available* Cumulative Amount 11-15 Increment II $1,650 16-19 Increment III $2,550 20 Increment IV $3,000 The merit increment represents an early award of the next available service increment, but is not a “double” increment: in other words, an employee who is entitled to Increment II on the basis of service and has earned an early award of Increment III on the basis of merit will receive a total cumulative increment amount of $2,550. Merit-based increment are computed on a fiscal (school) year basis and not on an anniversary date basis, and the payment will be made in a lump sum in any payroll in June of the year when the employee qualifies for the merit increment. The continued receipt of any merit increment is contingent upon the continued receipt of “excellent” evaluations.
Merit Increments. A regular monthly unit member eligible for service increments in accordance with Section 8.1 and who is assigned to an exempt job class (those not eligible for premium overtime pay) and whose work performance is deemed to be outstanding may be granted a one (1) step salary increase at any time upon recommendation of the Deputy Administrative Officer, Human Resource Services Division, and approval by the Board of Education. In such instances, the Deputy Administrative Officer, Human Resource Services Division, or designee, will provide written notification to the Union. When such a merit increment has been granted, a new anniversary or annual increment due date will be established if such placement is at a step less than the maximum for the job class.
Merit Increments. 1. With respect to 1997/98, the value of a single merit increment shall be $1,100 for Faculty members earning $65,222 or less. This increment shall take effect on September 1, 1999.
Merit Increments. The merit increments for the job classification of Dispatcher shall be based upon the employee having acquired the requisite time in grade and having a satisfactory employee evaluation.

  • Merit Increases (a) Subject to documented assessment and performance review undertaken pursuant to the Performance Management System, an employee on anniversary date may be granted an increase of up to five pay increments in the pay scale, not to exceed the control point maximum.

  • Billing Increments Unless otherwise stated in a Service Order, usage-based charges will be billed on either a per-minute or per- message basis. Service calls invoiced on a per-minute basis will have an initial minimum call duration of one (1) minute, subsequent intervals of one (1) minute each, and will be billed by rounding to the next whole minute.

  • Annual Increments 7.5.1 Subject to 7.5.3 all probationary, permanent, part-time and casual employees shall receive within grade step increments effective on their established increment dates, provided that the employee has reported for work a minimum of two hundred (200) days since his/her last increment adjustment.

  • Longevity Increment All unit members who have completed the required years of District service, as defined below, shall be eligible to receive a longevity increment.

  • Step Increases No increase in salary shall be automatic merely upon completion of a specified period of service. All increases shall be based on merit as established by the record of the employee's performance and shall require recommendation of the Department Head. If the City Manager at any time determines that it is in the City's interest, he may assign an employee to a higher rate within the salary range fixed for the classification. The City Manager shall regulate the accelerated advancement through the salary range steps. Subject to the provisions of this Section 12.3, an employee shall receive increases in salary according to the following plan:

  • SENIORITY INCREMENTS 275. Entry At The First Step. Full time employees appointed on or after July 1, 2014, shall advance to the second step upon completion of one year’s service and to each successive step upon completion of the one year required service.

  • Anniversary Increments Employees shall advance on the wage grid on their anniversary date in the classification.
