Meter Tests. The Company, for the mutual protection of the customer and the Company, will make periodic tests of the meter, including automatic meter reading equipment, used in measuring gas furnished to the customer, and will test a meter upon the written request of a customer. The meter will be tested and, if found inaccurate, restored to an accurate condition or a new meter will be substituted. Any meter tested and found to be registering not more than three percent (3%) fast or slow will be considered to be correct and accurate. If a test of any meter is made at the request of a customer, with the result that such meter is found to be correct and accurate as defined above, the Company may charge the customer the expense of such test. However, for the first such meter test in any twelve month period, the Company will not charge the customer.
Meter Tests. At least annually, Buyer will verify the accuracy of Buyer’s measuring equipment, and Seller or its lease operator will verify the accuracy of any check measuring equipment. If Seller’s lease operator or Buyer notifies the other that it desires a special test of any measuring equipment, they will cooperate to secure a prompt verification of the accuracy of the equipment. If either party at any time observes a variation between the delivery meter and the check meter, it will promptly notify the other, and both will then cooperate to secure an immediate verification of the accuracy of the equipment. Only if so requested in advance by Seller in writing, Buyer will give Seller’s lease operator reasonable advance notice of the time of all special tests and calibrations of meters and of sampling for determinations of gas composition and quality, so that the lease operator may have representatives present to witness tests and sampling or make joint tests and obtain samples with its own equipment. Seller will give or cause its lease operator to give reasonable advance notice to Buyer of the time of tests and calibrations of any check meters and of any sampling by Seller for determination of gas composition and quality.
Meter Tests. Seller shall ensure that the measuring equipment is accurate and in repair, and that such periodic tests as Seller may deem necessary are made, at least once each calendar quarter. Seller agrees to ensure that Buyer is given reasonable notice of each such test of the measuring equipment in order that, if Buyer desires, Buyer may have its representative present to witness such tests. Such representative shall comply with all relevant site access policies and agreements. If, upon any test, any measuring equipment is found to be inaccurate, such equipment shall be recalibrated, and, to the extent that it affects the aggregate measurement accuracy by an amount exceeding two percent (2%), registrations thereof shall be corrected for a period extending back to the time such inaccuracy occurred, if such time is ascertainable, and, if not ascertainable, then back one-half of the time elapsed since the last date of calibration; provided no retroactive correction shall be made for recorded inaccuracies of less than two percent (2%) in the aggregate. Either party may request special or additional tests of the measuring equipment at the requesting party’s’ sole expense.
Meter Tests. You can ask for a meter reading to be checked, or a meter at a Supply Address to be tested. If we ask you to pay the costs of the check or test in advance (where permitted by the Regulations), and the check or test proves that the meter or metering data is faulty or incorrect, we’ll refund the cost, or offset it against any amount owing on your next bill.
Meter Tests. Seller or its designated representative shall ensure that its measuring equipment is accurate and is operated and maintained in good repair, and that tests are made at least once each Month to ensure the accuracy of such metering equipment. Seller shall ensure that the Buyer is given at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice of each such test of the measuring equipment in order that, if Buyer desires, Buyer may have its representative present to witness such tests. If, upon any test, the measuring equipment is found to be inaccurate to the extent that it affects the aggregate measurement accuracy by an amount exceeding two percent (2%), registrations thereof shall be corrected for a period extending back to the time such inaccuracy occurred. If such time is not ascertainable, then the registrations will be corrected for the period extending back one-half of the time elapsed since the last date of calibration; provided, no retroactive correction shall be made for recorded inaccuracies of two percent (2%) or less in the aggregate. Meters will be adjusted or repaired on a timely basis. Special tests of the measuring equipment can be requested of Seller or its representative by Buyer at any time, with the cost thereof being paid by Buyer unless the meter is found to be inaccurate by an amount exceeding two percent (2%).
Meter Tests. At Purchaser’s expense, Purchaser shall keep its metering equipment accurate and in good working order, making such periodic tests as Purchaser deems necessary, but at least once during each Billing Year. Purchaser’s meters shall be maintained and calibrated in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications at least once during each Billing Year. Purchaser shall give Seller reasonable advance Notice of any meter test or calibration so that Seller may have its representatives present. Seller may, upon reasonable advance written notice, request a special test of the metering equipment at any time. The expense of such special test shall be paid by Seller if the equipment is found to be inaccurate by less than the manufacturer’s stated accuracy. If, upon any test, the equipment is found to be so inaccurate that it affects the measurement accuracy by the manufacturer’s stated accuracy or more, the cost of the meter test shall be paid by Purchaser and meter readings shall be corrected for a period extending back to the date on which such inaccuracy first occurred, if that date can be reasonably determined. If that date cannot be reasonably determined, corrections shall be made for the time period agreed upon by the Parties.
Meter Tests. At least twice each year Buyer shall verify the accuracy of Buyer’s measuring equipment, and Seller or its lease operator shall verify the accuracy of any check measuring equipment. If Seller’s lease operator or Buyer notifies the other that if desires a special test of any measuring equipment, they shall cooperate to secure a prompt verification of the accuracy of the equipment. If either at any time observes a variation between the delivery meter and the check meter, it will promptly notify the other, and both will then cooperate to secure an immediate verification of the accuracy of the equipment. Buyer and Seller’s lease operator shall give the other reasonable advance notice of the time of all tests and calibrations of meters and of sampling for determinations of gas composition and quality so that the other may conveniently have its representatives present to witness tests and sampling or to make joint and obtain samples with its own equipment.
Meter Tests. In the event a member requests DSO to test a meter, then DSO shall conduct a meter test and present the test results to the member. If the meter is found to be accurate (see SECTION 9-F), then the member shall be charged a Trip Fee, as filed in the Service Fees rate schedule. If the meter is found to be inaccurate, then the meter shall be replaced, the member shall not be charged a Trip Fee, and the member will be credited/billed for the meter’s inaccuracy, as explained in SECTION 9-F. If the member requests a meter test be conducted by an independent test laboratory, then the meter shall be replaced, and a Meter Test Fee, as filed in the Service Fees rate schedule, shall be required. If the meter is found to be accurate, then the Meter Test Fee shall be retained in order to help defray DSO’s expense in testing the meter and the member shall be charged a Trip Fee, as filed in the Service Fees rate schedule. If the meter is found to be inaccurate, then the member shall not be charged a Trip Fee, and the member will be credited/billed for the meter’s inaccuracy, as explained in SECTION 9-F.
Meter Tests. At least once each calendar quarter, Processor will verify the accuracy of Processor’s measuring equipment, and Supplier will verify the accuracy of any check measuring equipment. If Supplier or Processor notifies the other that it desires a special test of any measuring equipment, they will cooperate to secure a prompt verification of the accuracy of the equipment. If either Party at any time observes a variation between the delivery meter and the check meter, it will promptly notify the other, and both will then cooperate to secure an immediate verification of the accuracy of the equipment. Processor will give Supplier reasonable advance notice of the time of all special tests and calibrations of meters and of sampling for determinations of Gas composition and quality, so that Supplier may have representatives present to witness tests and sampling or make joint tests and obtain samples with its own equipment. Supplier will give reasonable advance notice to Processor of the time of tests and calibrations of any check meters and of any sampling by Supplier for determination of Gas composition and quality.
Meter Tests. 18.1 In accordance with test procedures approved by the Engineering Representatives, the Operating Agent shall make routine tests of the metering systems which measure (1) energy deliveries between each Unit and the Edison Switchyard or San Diego Switchyard, (b) energy deliveries from the Edison Switchyard or San Diego Switchyard to the Unit auxiliary transformers, and (c) energy deliveries over the Interconnection Facilities. The Operating Agent shall make such tests during the month of June of each year or at such other times as may be agreed upon. The Operating Agent shall adjust or replace any meter which is found to be inaccurate. The Operating Agent shall, at the request of either San Diego or Riverside, or on its own initiative, make special tests of said metering systems. The Operating Agent shall give San Diego and Riverside reasonable notice of the time when meter tests will be made, and San Diego and Riverside shall have the right to have a representative witness the tests. The costs of meter tests shall be shared by the Parties, other than Anaheim, in proportion to their ownership interests in the Common Facilities, except that the requesting or initiating Party shall pay the entire cost of any special tests it requests or initiates wherein the percentage error is found to be equal to or less than one
(1) percent slow or fast.
18.2 If any test shows any metering system to be inaccurate by more than one (1) percent, or if any metering system fails to register, corrections, equal to the amount of error as found, shall be made to the records of the measurements made by such metering system during the period of such erroneous meter registration or, if such period cannot be determined or reasonably estimated, for half the period from the date of the last preceding test. Billing adjustments or energy exchanges corresponding to such corrections shall be made in accordance with procedures approved by the Engineering Representatives.
