Miscellaneous Engineering. This task serves as a contingency for additional miscellaneous engineering efforts that may be identified during the course of the project. These services may be authorized in writing by City staff. ADDITIONAL SERVICES Additional Services not included in the existing Scope of Services – CITY and CONSULTANT agree that the following services are beyond the Scope of Services described in the tasks above. However, CONSULTANT can provide these services, if needed, upon the CITY’s written request. Any additional amounts paid to the CONSULTANT as a result of any material change to the Scope of the Project shall be agreed upon in writing by both parties before the services are performed. These additional services include the following:
Miscellaneous Engineering. Miscellaneous services, as requested by City, include tasks such as special studies and reports, environmental assessment worksheets, environmental impact statements, wetland delineation and compliance, comprehensive plans, GIS mapping services, capital improvement planning, funding assistance for grants and loans, traffic and transportation engineering, park/sidewalk/trail planning, land surveying, parcel descriptions, athletic complex design, utility rate studies, landscape architecture, streetscaping, downtown revitalization, lighting design, sustainable design, public involvement facilitation, trial preparation, expert witness testimony, and any other services which do not fall into the other two categories above. Compensation for project and miscellaneous engineering will be in accordance with our normal hourly rates listed in Exhibit III. Specifically, my rate (Xxxx Xxxxxxx) is $127/hour. General engineering services will be provided at a further discounted rate of $85/hour up to 20 hours per month in 2018. For the future, I am proposing any annual increases to my specified hourly rates to not exceed 3 percent. I feel strongly in supporting the City and always being available for questions that may develop during important meetings. Therefore, please note I plan to continue to attend regular City Council Meetings at no charge.
