Municipal Policing Allowance. Definition 13.01 Effective January 01, 2006, members shall be entitled to a Municipal Policing Allowance in accordance with the following schedule and shall cover all ranks from Constable to Staff Sergeant. (a) Sworn members with eight (8) to sixteen (16) years of completed police service shall receive an additional 3% of a 1st Class Constables rate. (b) Sworn members with seventeen (17) to twenty-two (22) years of completed police service shall receive an additional 6% of a 1st Class Constables rate. (c) Sworn members with twenty-three (23) years or more of completed police service shall receive an additional 9% of a 1st Class Constables rate. (d) A member shall have their MPA reduced by one pay level (for example, 6% to 3%) for twelve (12) months, under the following circumstances: (i) The member is convicted under the Police Services Act in for which the confirmed penalty was forfeiture in excess of forty (40) or more hours of pay or leave, or in excess of forty (40) or more hours suspension without pay. If an appeal is initiated and conviction upheld the twelve (12) months will be counted from the disposition of the appeal. (a) Municipal Policing Allowance is pensionable and shall form part of the basic salary. (b) Municipal Policing Allowance shall form part of the basic salary when calculating overtime, sick time, court time and vacation pay.

Municipal Policing Allowance. Effective January 1, 2006, a Municipal Policing Allowance will be introduced as follows: After completing 8 years of continuous service – 2% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 17 years of continuous service – 4% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 23 years of continuous service – 6% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. Effective January 1, 2007: After completing 8 years of continuous service – 3% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 17 years of continuous service – 6% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 23 years of continuous service – 9% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. “Years of service” shall include all verified service as a sworn police officer for existing members. For any new member joining the Sault Ste. Xxxxx Police Service after July 31, 2007, “years of service” shall only include service as a sworn police officer, with the Xxxxx Xxx. Xxxxx Police Service. The Municipal Policing Allowance applies to all ranks represented by the Association. The Municipal Policing Allowance shall be included in a member’s base salary, for the purposes of pension contributions and premium calculations including overtime, shift premiums, call out, court time, crown interviews, statutory holidays, Xxxxx time, vacation, short term disability, WSIB, and special duty. It is not included in the base rate of a first class constable, as set out in the Schedule of Salaries attached hereto, for the purposes of calculating annual increases.

For any new members joining the Greater Sudbury Police Service after May 11, 2004, “service” shall mean service with the Greater Sudbury Police Service only.

  • Interest Subsidy and Special Allowance Payments and Rebate Fees The Seller shall be entitled to all Interest Subsidy Payments and Special Allowance Payments on each Additional Loan or Substituted Loan accruing up to but not including the related Subsequent Cutoff Date and shall be responsible for the payment of any rebate fees applicable to such Purchased Loans subject to the related Xxxx of Sale accruing up to but not including the related Subsequent Cutoff Date. The Purchaser and the Eligible Lender Trustee on behalf of the Purchaser shall be entitled to all Special Allowance Payments and Interest Subsidy Payments accruing from the related Subsequent Cutoff Date with respect to the Additional Loans or Substituted Loans, and shall be responsible for the payment of any rebate fees applicable to the Additional Loans accruing from the date of the related Subsequent Cutoff Date.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00)) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare.

  • REPORTING ALLOWANCE l6.0l In the event that an employee reports for work on his regular shift without having been notified not to report at least two (2) hours prior to the start of his scheduled shift, he will be given at least four (4) hours work at his regular rate of pay, or if no work is available, he will be paid the equivalent of four (4) hours at his regular rate of pay in lieu of work. This provision shall not apply when there is a lack of work due to a situation beyond the control of the Company.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Housing Allowance During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to receive a Cayman Islands housing allowance of US $6,000 per month. Executive will be responsible for any taxes due on such allowance.
