New Hires and Promotions. Nothing in this Agreement shall restrict or modify the University 's ability to unilaterally establish the salary of newly-hired faculty members. Bargaining unit members who are promoted: (1) within the ranks identified in the University of Illinois Statutes, as such Statutes may be amended from time to time (e.g., Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor, Research Professor) and (2) from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer and Instructor to Senior Instructor shall be eligible for salary increases in accordance with campus policies and practices; however the increase shall not be less than 10%.

New Hires and Promotions. 5.3.1 New employees hired into one of the “included” classifications denoted with an asterisk (*) in Appendix A will, for wage scale placement and progression purposes only, be credited with service credit for each full year of prior employment experience in a similar position, as set forth below. To receive such credit, the prior employment must have been in the equivalent of a regular status and must have been in a JCAHO accredited acute care hospital, a U.S. military hospital, or in another setting determined by the Employer to be relevant and appropriate for the position.   • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved.

  • TRANSFERS AND PROMOTIONS Section 1. Notices of lateral transfer opportunities shall be posted for at least five (5) days on division bulletin boards and in branch offices. If an employee desires to transfer, he/she must submit a written request to the Agency’s Personnel Section.

  • Promotions A regular employee promoted to a job with a higher wage rate structure shall receive in the new job the increment rate that is immediately higher than her/his wage rate immediately prior to the promotion. For increment progression, the employee’s increment anniversary date shall then become the initial day in the new job. Employee pay rates shall become effective from the first day in the new job and further increment increases shall become effective on the established increment date. However, should the promotion at any time result in a lesser rate of pay than the employee would have received if the promotion had not occurred, then the employee shall retain the increment anniversary date of her/his prior job.

  • Marketing and Promotion The School will be responsible for marketing and promoting the Sports Facilities in accordance with the agreed aims and targets. A marketing strategy will be prepared and implemented and reviewed on an annual basis.

  • VACANCIES AND PROMOTIONS Section 1. The following procedures will be followed in the posting and filling of vacant or newly created permanent positions. The purpose of this system is to inform employees of vacancies and newly created positions and to afford employees who are interested and who feel they qualify an equal opportunity to apply for the vacant or newly created position. It is understood that newly hired employees and employees on a leave of absence for any reason may not have the same period of notice as other employees concerning position vacancies.

  • Employees and Subcontractors It is understood that, from time to time, it may become necessary for the Contractor to replace an individual working as an employee or subcontractor of the Contractor. All such removals or replacements shall be subject to Owner’s prior approval. Owner reserves the right to approve a replacement, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, or terminate the Work, either partially or in its entirety without further obligation to the Contractor thereunder other than to remit payment for the Work rendered up to the termination date. Contractor agrees that Owner may, at any time, with cause, require Contractor to remove an individual from the performance of the Work. An election by Owner of any of its rights under this Section 19 shall not affect the Contractor’s responsibilities, liabilities or warranties under this Agreement.

  • Training Courses 16.3.1 Training courses will be as described in the Seller’s customer services catalog (the “Seller’s Customer Services Catalog”). The Seller’s Customer Services Catalog also sets forth the minimum and maximum number of trainees per course. All training requests or training course changes made outside of the scope of the Training Conference will be submitted by the Buyer with a minimum of ***** prior notice.

Identify all assumptions used in the estimates.  Greenhouse gas and criteria emissions reductions.  Other non-energy benefits such as reliability, public safety, lower operational cost, environmental improvement, indoor environmental quality, and societal benefits.  Data on potential job creation, market potential, economic development, and increased state revenue as a result of the project.  A discussion of project product downloads from websites, and publications in technical journals.  A comparison of project expectations and performance. Discuss whether the goals and objectives of the Agreement have been met and what improvements are needed, if any.
