Night Shift Loading. (i) Notwithstanding anything else in this Agreement, MI may direct and roster an Employee to work a “Night Shiftpursuant to a roster issued by MI two weeks in advance of the roster commencing and ending under the terms of this sub-Clause. (ii) If an Employee is directed to work a Night Shift, the daily span of hours referred to in Clause 28.1 in each seperate work group shall have no effect. (iii) If an Employee works a Night Shift, they shall receive a 30 per cent loading for that shift (“Night Shift Loading”). The Night Shift Loading is calculated on Base Salary. If a Night Shift Loading is paid for any shift, there will be no entitlement arising under Clause 41 in each seperate work group or Clause 31 in each seperate work group, in respect of that shift.

Night Shift Loading. A shift worker who: during a period of engagement on shift work works night shift only; or remains on night shift for more than four consecutive weeks; or works on a night shift which does not rotate with another shift or with day work so that the shift worker does not have at least one third of his or her working time off night shift in each roster cycle; must be paid single time plus 30 percent for all time worked during ordinary working hours on night shifts worked Monday to Friday.
Night Shift Loading. 36.1. This loading applies to those employees engaged to work a component of their ordinary hours, outside the span of Ordinary Hours defined in clause 15 – Ordinary Hours. 36.2. Each ordinary hour worked by a casual employee on any day of the week (excluding public holidays) between 8.31pm and 4.59am, will attract a loading of 15% of the employee’s base rate for their classification. 36.3. Casual employees will receive the casual loading as prescribed in clause 25.2, in addition to the 15% loading prescribed in clause 36.2 36.4. Where a full-time, part-time or maximum-term employee is rostered for a shift where the shift end time is after 5.00pm and before 8.00am (excluding public holidays), those employees will be paid a loading of 15% of the employee’s base rate for that shift. 36.5. Where an employee’s time worked is in excess of their ordinary hours as prescribed in clause 15 – Ordinary Hours, of this Agreement, those hours will be deemed overtime and will attract overtime rates as prescribed in clause 30 – Overtime, of this Agreement, and the Night Shift Loading will not apply.
Night Shift Loading. The loading paid for ordinary hours worked between midnight on Friday and midnight on Saturday will be 50%, effective from the first pay period following the effective date of this Agreement. This is in substitution for the 30% night shift loading, For the avoidance of doubt, the parties agree that prior to this Agreement becoming operative, the shift loading for all ordinary hours on night shift, including hours on Saturday morning was 30%.
Night Shift Loading. Due to shift work arrangements that may be applicable under this Agreement, Parties agree that the applicable shift loading or penalty that will apply to an overlapping shift will be the loading or penalty that applies during the majority of continuous hours worked on the overlapping shift.

Related to Night Shift Loading

  • Night Shift Employees who are required to work at least five-eighths of their normal daily tour of duty after 4:30 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m. shall be paid at the rate of five percent over and above his/her normal biweekly or hourly rate of pay for the entire shift so worked.

  • Loading RPMG shall schedule the loading and shipping of all outbound corn oil purchased hereunder, but all labor and equipment necessary to load trucks and rail cars and other associated costs shall be supplied and borne by Producer without charge to RPMG. Producer shall handle the corn oil in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with RPMG’s written requirements and normal industry practice. Producer shall maintain the truck and rail loading facilities in safe operating condition in accordance with normal industry standards and shall visually inspect all trucks and rail cars to assure (i) cleanliness so as to avoid contamination, and (ii) that such trucks and railcars are in a condition suitable for transporting the corn oil. RPMG and RPMG’s agents shall have adequate access to the Ethanol Facility to load Producer’s corn oil on an industry standard basis that allows RPMG to economically market Producer’s corn oil. RPMG’s employees shall follow all reasonable safety rules and procedures promulgated by Producer and provided to RPMG reasonably in advance and in writing. Producer shall supply product description tags, certificates of analysis, bills of lading and/or material safety data sheets that are applicable to all shipments. In the event that Producer fails to provide the labor, equipment and facilities necessary to meet RPMG’s loading schedule, Producer shall be responsible for all costs and expenses, including without limitation actual demurrage and wait time, incurred by RPMG resulting from or arising in connection with Producer’s failure to do so.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.

  • Leave Loading The employer and the individual employee must have genuinely made the agreement without coercion or duress.

  • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.

  • ADJACENT EXCAVATION-SHORING If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the demised premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the demised premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which demised premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundations without any claim for damages or indemnity against Owner, or diminution or abatement of rent.

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • Drop Shipped Off loaded by carrier to an Agency loading dock or designated area. There will be no charge to the ordering Agency for this delivery method.

  • Time Off Between Shifts Failure to provide the minimum number of hours between the commencement of an employee's scheduled shift and the commencement of such employee's next scheduled shift shall result in payment of one and one-half (1½) times the employee's regular straight time hourly rate for only those hours which reduce the minimum hour period. Where the minimum period is reduced as a result of an approved change of shift(s) requested by the employee(s), such premium payment shall not apply. The minimum number of hours for purposes of this Article shall be determined locally and will be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.
