NO STRIKE OR WORK STOPPAGE. During the term of this Agreement there shall be no strike, work stoppage, picketing, or any other form of concerted activity by the custodial/maintenance employees, the purpose of which is to cause District employees to render less than full and complete services to the District, by the Union, its members, or any employees covered by this Agreement. This prohibition applies to strikes and work stoppages for any reason, whether grievable or not.

The PBA, its officers, agents, representatives, and its bargaining unit members and employees agree that they will not strike, as defined by the Public Employees Relations Act, and agree not to participate in a strike against the Sheriff by instigating or supporting a strike, nor shall the bargaining unit member participate in a work stoppage, slow-down, sick out, job actions or picketing in furtherance, of any of the above-prohibited activities. Notwithstanding the above, there shall be no picketing whatsoever in uniform by the bargaining unit members covered by this Agreement. The parties agree that any bargaining unit member who participates in or promotes any of the aforesaid activities may be discharged or otherwise disciplined by the Sheriff.

The IUPA, its officers, agents, representatives, and its bargaining unit members and employees agree that they will not strike, as defined by the Public Employees Relations Act, and agree not to participate in a strike against the Sheriff by instigating or supporting a strike, nor shall the bargaining unit member participate in a work stoppage, slow-down, sick out, job actions or picketing in furtherance, of any of the above-prohibited activities. Notwithstanding the above, there shall be no picketing whatsoever in uniform by the bargaining unit members covered by this Agreement. The Sheriff agrees that picketing out of uniform on an employee’s off hours is a constitutional right.
NO STRIKE OR WORK STOPPAGE. The Association and the Hospital have provided in this Agreement an orderly method for resolving disputes covering the terms of this contract and involving employees in this bargaining unit. Both the Hospital and the Association pledge to utilize the grievance procedure wherever applicable and declare their opposition to lockouts and strikes as a matter of attempting to resolve such disputes.

NO STRIKE OR WORK STOPPAGE. Section 1: Recognizing the crucial role of law enforcement in the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare.of x.xxxx society~ the Union agrees that it will take all reasonable and necessary steps to ensure that those employees covered by this Agreement, both individually and collectively, perform all designated police duties and otherwise render loyal and efficient service to the best of their abilities.
NO STRIKE OR WORK STOPPAGE. The PFT and the District subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by peaceful and appropriate means without interruption of the school program. The PFT agrees, therefore, that there shall be no strikes, work stoppages, or other concerted refusal to perform work by teachers covered by this Agreement, nor shall the PFT or its agents or representatives instigate such actions.
