Notice of Discharge. The Port shall give to a discharged regular employee a written notice of termination and at the same time send a copy to the local union involved.

Section 2 The President of the Support Staff Association shall be notified immediately of all terminations.
Section 3 It is agreed that a discharge grievance shall be processed immediately with the College President or his/her designee.

Section 5 Any employee with at least one (1) year's seniority will receive thirty (30) days' notice of layoff or in lieu of notice two (2) weeks' pay.

Except for nurses who are discharged for proper cause, the Medical Center will provide two (2) weeks’ notice of discharge to regular nurses who have completed their introductory period. If less than two weeks’ notice is given, the Medical Center will pay the nurse for the hours that he/she would have worked during that part of the two (2) week period for which such notice was not given.
Notice of Discharge. Any discharged employee will request from the Employer the reasons for discharge and the Employer will reply immediately in writing. The Union must be notified immediately of any discharge. In the cases of a suspension the Company agrees to notify the Union that an employee has been suspended within 24 hours of the suspension and if at all possible will give reasons for the suspension.

The Consultants when submitting the final payment sheet is obligated to provide the Employer with a notice of discharge confirming that the final payment sheet forms the final and complete settlement of all the sums he deserves in accordance with the Contract, provided that this discharge will come into effect only after the Consultant receives sums entitled to him in accordance with the contract.
