Overtime and Sunday. The overtime rate of one and one-half (1.5) times the basic hourly rate of pay and is paid under the following conditions: a) All hours worked after an employee has worked 8 hours at the basic rate of pay in a workday. b) All hours worked after an employee has worked 40 hours at the basic hourly rate of pay in a workweek c) All hours worked on a non scheduled Sunday (if Sunday is part of the regular posted work schedule the hours worked are paid at the basic rate of pay)

Overtime and Sunday. The overtime rate of one and one-half (1.5) times the basic hourly rate of pay and is paid under the following conditions: a) All hours worked after an employee has worked 8 hours at the basic rate of pay in a workday. b) All hours worked after an employee has worked 40 hours at the basic hourly rate of pay in a workweek c) All hours worked on a non scheduled Sunday (if Sunday is part of the regular posted work schedule the hoursworked are paid at the basic rate of pay) d) All call-out hours worked and those call-out hours not worked which make up the minimum requirement threshold listed in Article 6.02. The following hours will be considered as hours worked and will count toward the daily and weekly overtime calculation described in 6.03 (a) and (b) above: • Scheduled vacation/floating holiday; • First 8 hours worked or not worked on a recognized holiday; • First 8 hours worked on a scheduled Sunday (NOTE: Sunday must be part of the regular posted scheduled to qualify); • Paid union time off for joint meetings with the Company. The following hours will not count toward the daily and weekly overtime calculation described in (a) and (b) above: • Bereavement, Jury Duty, Witness Duty, Short-term Disability (STD), Workers Compensation, Military, unscheduled vacation/floating holiday, inclement weather, and any other paid time off not listed above; • Any non-paid time off, including non-paid union time; • Any hours worked on a non-scheduled Sunday; • Any call-out hours (worked or those call-out hours notworked which make up the minimum requirement threshold); • Any hours worked over 8 in a workday or 40 in a workweek already paid at the overtime rate.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period. (b) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday, all employees excluding home care employees will be paid a loading of 75% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period. (c) Casual employees will be paid in accordance with Clauses 35(a) and 35(b). The rates prescribed in Clauses 35(a) and 35(b) will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the casual loading prescribed in Clause 12.5(b). (d) These extra rates will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift penalties prescribed at Clause 38 Shiftwork.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours per day. Any shift starting after 12:01 p.m. will receive a shift premium in accordance with Article 13.01 ii).

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday or a Sunday or shall be a legal holiday in the State of New York, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day not a legal holiday.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday ‌ For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday, and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Overtime Holidays Double time the regular rate for work on the following holiday(s). New Year's Day

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
