OVERTIME & CALL IN TIME. 1. Employees working regularly thirty-five (35) hours per week shall receive pay for time and one-half their regular rate of hours worked in excess of thirty-five hours per week. The District shall provide the Union with a list of all thirty-five (35) hour positions and their designated working hours. Such list shall be updated annually.

OVERTIME & CALL IN TIME. A) Overtime refers to any time worked beyond the regular hours of duty and is granted only when an employee is ordered to work by a supervisor.
OVERTIME & CALL IN TIME. An employee called in to work at a time not contiguous with his/her regular scheduled working hours shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours at one and one-half (1-1/2) times regular hourly wage rate. A minimum of one (1) hour at one and one-half (1-1/2) times regular hourly wage rate will be paid for scheduled work outside the normal working shifts (e.g. building checks, opening the building for a scheduled appointment).
OVERTIME & CALL IN TIME. 8.1 It is agreed that when it becomes necessary for the efficient conduct of the business of the State, an appointed authority or designee may direct or authorize overtime work. Overtime work shall be a matter of record and distributed as fairly and as equitably as possible on a rotation basis, within the respective work location and class of position based on primary seniority. An employee offered overtime will be excused at his or her request, provided authorized personnel are available and willing to meet the need; and any employee so excused shall not be offered overtime work again, until his or her name comes up again in the seniority rotation. In the event that an insufficient number of employees within the classification and work location in which overtime work is assigned voluntarily accept the assignment, the State may direct and require employees within the classification and division to perform the work. Such required overtime assignments shall be made in the reverse order of seniority. A record of overtime work will be furnished to the Union at its request. No employee who has performed work before or after scheduled shift hours will have the right or will be required by the State, by reason thereof, to take time off to equalize working hours.

  • Minimum Call-In Time Any employee called in to work on a day when the employee is not scheduled to work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the appropriate rate of pay under this Agreement.

  • Call-In Time 17.1 All employees called in, except as provided below, and who report for work shall, if requested to work less than four (4) hours, receive four (4) hours pay at their regular hourly rate.

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Break Time For daily work assignments of six or more hours, permanent and probationary employees (except bus drivers and bus aides) shall be entitled to one 15-minute break for each half of the work assignment. For work assignments of less than six hours, such employees shall be entitled to one 15-minute break. Employees who spend a majority of the workday working with a Video Display Terminal (VDT) shall be permitted to perform other job-related duties (i.e., work not involving use of a VDT) 10 continuous minutes out of each hour. Such time shall not be cumulative and shall be in addition to break time established above.

  • Overtime Calculation For the purpose of overtime calculation only, approved or scheduled time off work will be considered the same as time worked.

  • Overtime Lieu Time Where an employee has worked an accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where the applicable rate I time and one-half, then time off shall be at one and one-half times. Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the succeeding two pay periods of the occurrence of the overtime at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and the employee, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. An employee shall not be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime.

  • Call Back Time Any employee called back to work after completion of his/her regular assignment shall be compensated for at least two (2) hours of work at the overtime rate, irrespective of the actual time worked.

  • Minimum Call-Back Time An employee who is called in and required to work outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates unless the call-in is immediately prior to their normal work day, in which case there should be no minimum.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.
