Pay for Working on a General Holiday. All employees working on general holidays shall be paid their general holiday pay they would have received had they not worked, plus an additional time and one-half (1½) said hourly rate for all time required to be on duty unless they choose to bank the general holiday to take time off in lieu. Employees working on the General Holiday choosing to bank the general holiday may choose one of the following options:

Pay for Working on a General Holiday. An employee who works on any of the holidays mentioned in Article 13.01 (a) shall be paid at the rate of time and a half. Where the provisions of Article 12.03 (a) would apply to the work if the day was not a holiday, the minimum payment and travelling allowance shall also apply.
Pay for Working on a General Holiday. Twelve (12) Hour Continuous Shifts An employee who works on any of the holidays mentioned in Article 13.01 (a) shall be paid at the rate of time and a half for all hours worked. However, where the provisions of Article 12.03 (a) would apply to the work if it was not a holiday, the minimum payment and travelling allowance provided in Article 12.03 (a) shall apply.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Working on a Holiday An employee who is required to work on a holiday shall be paid at the rate of straight time plus time and one-half (1 1/2).

  • Overtime on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she will receive compensation equal to 3.33 times her regular rate as follows:
