Probationary Period Extension. An employee's probationary period may be extended at the discretion of the City for up to a maximum of three months of actual and continuous service.
Probationary Period Extension. The probationary period may be extended up to a maximum of two (2) months if the nurse’s attendance or performance is questionable as determined by the Employer. The nurse and Staff Council shall be notified in writing no less than one (1) week in advance of an extension by the Employer.

a. If, prior to the completion of the probationary period of a new employee, a problem is identified which would result in a decision by the Department to release the employee from the probationary position, the Department may, at its discretion, extend the probationary period for a fixed period of time, not to exceed an additional six (6) months.
b. If the Department elects to extend the probationary period, the specific problem(s) that are the basis for the Department’s decision not to pass the employee on probation shall be provided to the employee in writing. The Department shall provide the employee appropriate remedial training and sufficient time to correct the deficiencies.
c. The Department shall notify the Union of the decision to extend the probationary period.

If an employee in the probationary period established in Sections 2117.45, “Promotions, 2117.46, “Transfers”, and 2117.47, “Voluntary Demotions”, herein does not work, even though compensated, for more than twenty four (24) hours during the probationary period, the period shall be extended by the number of hours the employee is off.

The extension period will be defined by the Employer and a specific date will be provided to the Employee at the time of the notice of extension, but such extension shall not exceed 90 days. If an individual is hired with special requirements (as detailed in the letter offering employment) the individual must meet the conditions contained in the offer letter in order to complete their probationary period. The Department may extend an employee’s probationary period up to six (6) months in order for the employee to meet the special requirements contain in their offer letter.
Probationary Period Extension. (1) If an employee is absent on an approved leave of absence of longer than five (5) days during their Probationary Period, the Probationary Period will be extended by the same number of calendar days off work.
(2) For Recreation employees, the probationary period will be extended by the duration of the annual seasonal closure of the facility, when applicable.
(3) The probationary period may be extended by mutual agreement between the Regional District and the Union.
Probationary Period Extension. 6.4.1 Under certain circumstances, the Company may extend the probationary period. In such cases, the Pilot and the Association shall be advised in writing. The affected Pilot shall be interviewed by the Company to discuss the reason for the extension. An Association Representative shall be present at the option of the Pilot. The Company shall provide the Pilot and the Association a reasonable amount of notice prior to any such interview. Due consideration shall be given as to the reason for the extension and may involve the Company or Association assistance programs.
Probationary Period Extension. For cause, the County Administrative Officer, upon the recommendation of the appointing authority, may extend the probationary period of an employee for a period not to exceed six (6) months upon furnishing the employee with a statement of the reasons for such extension and the required standards that must be met in order for the employee to successfully complete the probationary period. Pursuant to the NMC HR MOU Regarding Delegation of HR Functions, the NMC Chief Executive Officer may approve such action for employees employed by Xxxxxxxxx Medical Center.
