Professional Staff Salary Schedules. ‌ A Bargaining Unit employee may advance vertically and horizontally in a single year, subject to the provisions herein and as authorized by the Board of Education. Horizontal Salary Schedule Movement To move horizontally on the salary schedule, a teacher must do pre-approved course work in the educational field. Approval for course work that will result in movement across the salary schedule must be obtained before the course is taken, and the completed approval form must be submitted. Courses to be taken in the summer should be listed and submitted for approval on the appropriate form by May 1 of the current school year. In order for movement to occur for the following school year transcripts must be received by September 10th in order for advancement on the salary schedule to be effective in that year’s contract. Such advancement will be retroactive to the first of the contract year.

A. Implementation of Teacher Salary Schedule: Initial Placement 1. Teaching Experience: Each step of the salary schedule shall represent the successfu l completion of one year of full-time teaching of subjects related to the initial assignment. For every two (2) years of teaching experience in unrelated subjects, a teacher will receive one step credit on the salary schedule, up to a maximum of four (4) steps. Substitute teaching experience will not count for placement on the salary schedule. 2. Related Work Experience: Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, teachers may be given step credit for non-teaching employment experience directly related to their teaching assignments. Working with children or (for secondary teachers only) working in the academic discipline of the major teaching assignment are the kinds of experience which may be credited under this provision. Every two (2) years of approved experience will receive only one step credit, and no more than four steps will be credited. 3. No newly hired teacher shall be placed above the step placement of employed teachers with the same number of years of successful teaching experience. However, under unusual circumstances, when this agreement prohibits the Superintendent from employing the selected candidate for a position, the Association will be notified and the views of the Association considered before any new hire is finally placed on the salary schedule. 4. Since certification in Occupational/Vocational skill areas requires five (5) years of trade experience in addition to undergraduate course work, the administration may modify the provision s of this policy in the recommended placement of teachers in the trade areas. However, the Superintendent may reject the recommendation in favor of its own discretion in placement of such teachers. B. Advancement To Next Higher Step

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V. (b) Salary schedules will contain Career Enhancement/Growth steps as described in Section 45.6.

  • Vacation Schedules (a) Completed vacation schedules will be posted by April 30th of each year. The schedule will be circulated commencing February 1st of the same year. (b) An employee who does not exercise her seniority rights within two (2) weeks of receiving the vacation schedule, shall not be entitled to exercise those rights in respect to any vacation time previously selected by an employee with less seniority. (c) An employee who relocates to another work location where the vacation schedule has already been completed will not be entitled to exercise her seniority rights for that year only. However, every effort shall be made to grant vacation at the time of the employee's choice.

  • Company to Provide Interim Financial Statements Prior to the First Closing Date and each applicable Option Closing Date, the Company will furnish the Underwriters, as soon as they have been prepared by or are available to the Company, a copy of any unaudited interim financial statements of the Company for any period subsequent to the period covered by the most recent financial statements appearing in the Registration Statement and the Prospectus.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.
