Project Allowance. (a) The parties acknowledge that some construction and maintenance shutdown projects may have specific project allowance provisions, offering an allowance, specifically in relation to that project. This allowance is in excess of the entitlements outlined in this Agreement. Where an Employee is assigned to a project with a project specific allowance, this will be paid in addition to the rates of pay, allowances, and benefits outlined in this Agreement, for the period for which the project allowance applies, but will not form part of this Agreement.

The cost of all design work relating to the Project Allowance Items shall not be included in the Project Allowance but shall be embedded elsewhere in the Fixed Design-Build Price. To the extent practicable, prior to the Construction Commencement Date the parties shall agree to guaranteed fixed prices for each Project Allowance Item. Related to Project Allowance

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement of up to a maximum of eighty five ($85.00) dollars per year, for purchasing or repairing, safety shoes for full-time employees who have completed their probationary period and are required by the Employer to wear safety shoes. The style and colour of the shoes must be approved by the Employer. Employees in the following classifications and/or departments are eligible to avail themselves of the shoe allowance: Banquet Culinary Guest Services Housemen/Housepersons Fairmont Lounge Housekeeping In Room Dining Laundry Stewarding Velvet Glove Front Desk Employees will receive said amount so long as the shoes are worn on the job.   • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Safety Boot Allowance ‌ Effective January 1, 2022, except for temporary and probationary employees, the Employer agrees to pay one hundred and eighty-five dollars ($185.00) in January of each year towards the cost of safety boots for each full time employee requiring them and one hundred ($100.00) dollars for each part time employee requiring them under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and/or by the Employer, provided the Employee is not eligible for safety footwear through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
