Dirty Work. Where an employee and their supervisor agree that work (other than ship repair work) is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 43 cents per hour extra. Where an employee and their supervisor agree that certain ship repair work is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 58 cents per hour extra.
Dirty Work. Employees engaged on work in quarries or in nominated sidings associated with coal or cement traffic will be paid the allowance as set out at item 11 of Schedule 2B.
Dirty Work. Section 1. Employees required to work in tanks, bilges, or under floor plates where oil or water has accumulated, or inside boilers, or disassembling boilers, uptakes or stacks, or the removal and handling of used dock cable shall be paid double the straight time rate of pay, for the entire period so employed unless such places are reasonably clean. Dirty pay situations shall be designated by either the Vessel or Terminal General Foreperson after review with the Foreperson.
Dirty Work. An employee shall be paid a premium of $0.35 per hour for actual hours worked on dirty work. When dirty work is intermittent, payment of the premium shall be at the discretion of the supervisor on the job, who will also determine the number of hours for which the premium shall be paid. Dirty Work. An employee engaged on dirty work shall be paid an amount equivalent to the employees at the workplace where the dirty work occurs. The employee must ensure entitlement and amount is clearly marked on the work docket and signed by an authorized person representing the client.
Dirty Work. An employee employed on excessively dirty work which is more likely to render the employee or his/her clothes dirtier than the normal run of work shall be paid 41 cents per hour in addition to the rates otherwise stated in this Agreement (with a minimum payment of 4 hours when employed on such work).
