Dirty Work. Where an employee and their supervisor agree that work (other than ship repair work) is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 43 cents per hour extra. Where an employee and their supervisor agree that certain ship repair work is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 58 cents per hour extra.
Dirty Work. Employees engaged on work in quarries or in nominated sidings associated with coal or cement traffic will be paid the allowance as set out at item 11 of Schedule 2B.
Dirty Work. An employee engaged on dirty work shall be paid an amount equivalent to the employees at the workplace where the dirty work occurs. The employee must ensure entitlement and amount is clearly marked on the work docket and signed by an authorized person representing the client.

Dirty pay situations shall be designated by either the Vessel or Terminal General Foreperson after review with the Foreperson.
Section 2. When employees are required to clean or work in sewage holding tanks, lift tanks or come in direct contact with sewage containing human waste, they shall be paid double the straight time rate of pay, provided they are wearing the required protective gear.
Section 3. Employees required to perform work while in direct contact with animal/avian feces will be paid double the straight time rate of pay, for the period such work is performed provided they are wearing the required protective gear.
Section 4. It shall be the responsibility of the Vessel or Terminal General Foreperson, Forepersons and Leadpersons when available, to insure employees are wearing proper protective gear and to authorize and verify work performed under this provision.
Section 5. Dirty work under this Article shall be recognized by the Employer and the Union as work conditions that are more dirty, disagreeable, or unpleasant than normal Eagle Harbor working conditions. It is the intent of the parties to limit dirty work pay to situations that are exceptionally dirty relative to normal facility work. In the event of a dispute over dirty pay, a craft xxxxxxx, a representative of the Employer, and a WSF safety office representative, when available, shall make the determination of dirty work pay prior to commencing work.

Dirty Work. The internal work and cleaning of condensers and cooling water lines, the desludging and internal cleaning of oil storage tanks, the internal work in the flue gas passages of the boilers, internal work on pulverizers, work below manhole covers in hydro plants, work on wheel pits, creosoting pipe lines, internal work on coal crushers and trimming in coal bunkers, shall be defined as "dirty work" and employees engaged in this work shall be paid at the rate of $0.15 per hour in addition to their regular rate while so engaged in such work.
