PROTECTIVE CLOTHING ISSUE. The Company provides employees with an issue of clothing annually as under: Three (3) pairs of trousers and three (3) shirts or Three (3) pairs of overalls and One (1) issue of safety footwear The clothing issue form will be handed out on the commencement of employment or prior to the next annual issue falling due. All completed forms should be returned to shop supervision as soon as possible. Should either party terminate employment before the end of the probationary period the full cost of this clothing and footwear will be deducted from the final pay. If a new employee leaves the Company before the end of a 3 month period, the full cost of the original issue of clothing and footwear will be deducted from the final pay. Safety clothing and boots that are worn in particularly difficult work areas and show signs of reasonable wear prior to the expiration of 12 months will be replaced by the Company on return of the old clothing and boots to the relevant supervisor. A stock of various sizes will be kept for prompt replacement. The annual entitlement will be issued at the beginning of October each year. Any employees who commence employment in the three months prior to the October annual issue will not receive an annual issue until the October of the following year. All permanent employees have the option to “Swap” 1 set of new issue clothing per year (e.g. 1 x shirt & 1 x trouser or 1 x overall) for a bluey Jacket. Employees wishing to purchase extra items of safety clothing may do so by dealing directly with company’s suppliers. The Company will arrange introductions to the relevant suppliers.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING ISSUE. On commencement of employment an employee will be entitled to 2 pairs of trousers, 2 shirts a jacket and 1 pair of safety boots for field staff. and One pair of trousers or slacks or 2 shirts or 2 blouses for indoor staff . The above clothing will be replaced by Council as required, and appropriate to the individual’s requirements based on a risk assessment of the employee’s position.

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer shall provide and pay for all protective devices, clothing and other equipment necessary to properly protect employees from injury and unhealthy conditions. The Employer shall make provisions for the proper cleaning and maintenance of all safety equipment, devices and clothing at no cost to the employees.

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 33.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer. 33.2 Suitable protective clothing shall be provided at the employer's expense where the duty involves a risk of excessive soiling or damage to uniforms or personal clothing or a risk of injury to the employee.

  • Personal Protective Clothing 11.1 On commencement of employment with the Employer each employee will be issued with the following; 11.2 Where the employee requires prescription glasses, the Employer shall ensure that appropriate eye protection is issued or where the employee has had his/her glasses hardened, reimburse the employee for the cost, provided that such glasses meet appropriate safety standards. 11.3 The above mentioned equipment will be maintained by the employee and replaced by the Employer on a fair wear and tear basis. 11.4 Intentionally left blank

  • Protective Footwear Effective January 1, 2014, and on that date for each subsequent calendar year, the Hospital will provide $120 per calendar year to each full-time and each regular part-time employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear during the course of his duties. The employees who will be required to wear safety footwear will be negotiated locally and set out in the Local Provisions Appendix. Note: The existing central language designating the classifications of employees which are deemed to require appropriate safety footwear shall be transferred to the local appendix.

  • Protective Arrangements In the event that a Party or any member of its Group either determines on the advice of its counsel that it is required to disclose any information pursuant to applicable Law or receives any request or demand under lawful process or from any Governmental Authority to disclose or provide information of the other Party (or any member of the other Party’s Group) that is subject to the confidentiality provisions hereof, such Party shall notify the other Party (to the extent legally permitted) as promptly as practicable under the circumstances prior to disclosing or providing such information and shall cooperate, at the expense of the other Party, in seeking any appropriate protective order requested by the other Party. In the event that such other Party fails to receive such appropriate protective order in a timely manner and the Party receiving the request or demand reasonably determines that its failure to disclose or provide such information shall actually prejudice the Party receiving the request or demand, then the Party that received such request or demand may thereafter disclose or provide information to the extent required by such Law (as so advised by its counsel) or by lawful process or such Governmental Authority, and the disclosing Party shall promptly provide the other Party with a copy of the information so disclosed, in the same form and format so disclosed, together with a list of all Persons to whom such information was disclosed, in each case to the extent legally permitted.

  • Employee Assistance Drug and alcohol counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance are available from or through the Employer’s employee assistance program provider(s) (E.A.P.).

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.
