Quality Committee. Doctors Health and the LLC hereby create the Quality Committee referred to in this SECTION 7.b for the purpose of (i) developing cooperative developmental, management and administrative policies to guide each of the LLC and Doctors Health in fulfilling its obligations hereunder, (ii) providing to Doctors Health and the LLC a forum in which policy and implementation matters affecting the LLC and its physicians may be discussed on a regular basis, and (iii) establishing an expedited process through which any disagreement or dispute between the parties to this Agreement relating to or concerning (A) the quality, adequacy or appropriateness of the assets, facilities or services provided by Doctors Health to the LLC, (B) the quality and timeliness of the services provided by the LLC and its physicians to patients pursuant to this Agreement, (C) the appropriateness of any expense which Doctors Health treats as a Business Cost of the LLC, may be submitted for review and resolution prior to any informal or formal adjudication. The Quality Committee shall consist of six members, three appointed by the LLC and three appointed by Doctors Health. Of the three members appointed by Doctors Health, one shall be the Chief Executive Officer of DHS and one shall be the Executive Vice President and Director of Medical Services of DHS. Of the three members appointed by the LLC, one shall be the President of the LLC or his designee. Either party may change the designation of any of its Quality Committee members who is not serving EX-OFFICIO by written notice delivered to the other party pursuant to the provisions of SECTION 10.p of this Agreement. Doctors Health and the LLC agree to cause the Quality Committee to meet regularly, but not less often than monthly. Where possible, such meetings shall be scheduled to coincide with the dates of the regularly scheduled meetings of DHS' Board of Directors. The Quality Committee shall adopt such rules and regulations regarding the conduct of its business as it deems appropriate. If the LLC believes that any asset, facility or service provided by Doctors Health to the LLC pursuant to this Agreement, including any item of Equipment, any aspect of the Office Space, any goods, materials or supplies or any administrative or other service, including any aspect of any budget, business plan, policy or procedure, or any of the professional or non-professional personnel provided to the LLC, is inadequate, inappropriate or otherwise insufficient,...

Quality Committee. The CMO shall form a quality committee of Directors including at least 80% licensed physicians to enforce the MANUAL and medical practice parameters contained therein. The committee must at least annually submit written recommendations to the FRANCHISOR as to any improvements that can be made or additions to the MANUAL. FRANCHISOR may make such changes and act on such recommendations at its sole discretion. Any and all such changes become the property of the FRANCHISOR.

Rating Category (RC) – An identifier used by EOHHS to identify a specific grouping of Enrollees for which a discrete TCOC applies pursuant to the Contract. Rating Categories include RC I Adult, RC I Child, XX XX Adult, XX XX Child, RC IX, and XX X. XX XX Adult, as used in Section 2.7, includes Enrollees who are disabled, age 21 to 64, and in MassHealth Standard or CommonHealth as described in 130 CMR 505. Region – A geographic area used for the purpose of the development of TCOC. See Section 2.7. Risk Track – one of the financial accountability arrangements described in Section 2.7.B.
Quality Committee. Licensor and Licensee shall establish a quality committee comprised of two (2) representatives of Licensor and two (2) representatives of Licensee (the "Quality Committee"). The Quality Committee will endeavor to resolve all matters related to Article 3 and if there is a deadlock the matter will be resolved by arbitration as provided in Section 15.9.

  • Safety Committee Where a Health and Safety Committee is established on a job in accordance with section 72 of the OHS Act, it shall include the Employer’s Site Safety Supervisor and the Health and Safety Representative/s.

  • Joint Safety Committee (a) The Union and the Company shall cooperate in selecting one or more Safety Committees, which will meet at least once a month to consider all safety and occupational health problems. (b) The local Joint Safety Committee shall consist of equal representation from Company and Union. This Committee shall meet at least once a month to consider all safety and occupational health problems.

  • Technical Committee 1. The Technical Committee shall comprise: (a) nine experts representing different regions of the Agreement Area, in accordance with a balanced geographical distribution; (b) one representative from the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), one from the International Waterfowl and Wetlands Research Bureau (IWRB) and one from the International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC); and (c) one expert from each of the following fields: rural economics, game management, and environmental law. The procedure for the appointment of the experts, the term of their appointment and the procedure for designation of the Chairman of the Technical Committee shall be determined by the Meeting of the Parties. The Chairman may admit a maximum of four observers from specialized international inter- governmental and non-governmental organizations. 2. Unless the Meeting of the Parties decides otherwise, meetings of the Technical Committee shall be convened by the Agreement secretariat in conjunction with each ordinary session of the Meeting of the Parties and at least once between ordinary sessions of the Meeting of the Parties. 3. The Technical Committee shall: (a) provide scientific and technical advice and information to the Meeting of the Parties and, through the Agreement secretariat, to Parties; (b) make recommendations to the Meeting of the Parties concerning the Action Plan, implementation of the Agreement and further research to be carried out; (c) prepare for each ordinary session of the Meeting of the Parties a report on its activities, which shall be submitted to the Agreement secretariat not less than one hundred and twenty days before the session of the Meeting of the Parties, and copies shall be circulated forthwith by the Agreement secretariat to the Parties; and (d) carry out any other tasks referred to it by the Meeting of the Parties. 4. Where in the opinion of the Technical Committee there has arisen an emergency which requires the adoption of immediate measures to avoid deterioration of the conservation status of one or more migratory waterbird species, the Technical Committee may request the Agreement secretariat to convene urgently a meeting of the Parties concerned. These Parties shall meet as soon as possible thereafter to establish rapidly a mechanism to give protection to the species identified as being subject to particularly adverse threat. Where a recommendation has been adopted at such a meeting, the Parties concerned shall inform each other and the Agreement secretariat of measures they have taken to implement it, or of the reasons why the recommendation could not be implemented. 5. The Technical Committee may establish such working groups as may be necessary to deal with specific tasks.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Health & Safety Committee The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • Safety Committees Joint employee-elected and Employer appointed safety committees shall be formed in accord with WISHA requirements and following University of Washington policy. The Union is entitled to representation on the University-wide or specific organizational or divisional committees where bargaining unit employees are working. Any department or unit committee also dealing with health and safety issues in work areas shall appropriately involve bargaining unit employees. Participation in safety and health committees, including meeting time, health and safety research, work on committee assignments, seminars, and classes will be considered time worked for all employees in accordance with University policy. Release time must be arranged with supervisors in advance. When the committee makes a recommendation that requires action or approval beyond its scope of authority, the Employer will communicate its disposition of the formal written recommendation within thirty (30) days.

  • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

  • Health and Safety Committee Where required a committee will be formed and will meet where required by the Employer’s safety policies and by statute.

  • Scheduling Committee (a) The parties agree to the formation of a Scheduling Committee to discuss and assist in resolving scheduling issues. (b) The committee will be comprised of equal representation from the Union and management. One Union Representative shall be the Bargaining Unit President and one Management Representative shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate. (c) Terms of Reference will be developed and mutually agreed to by the Committee.
