Recipient Education. (A) The STATE or the Local Agency, will inform Medical Assistance Recipients who reside in the Service Area of the options available in health care coverage. The STATE or Local Agency shall describe through presentations and/or written materials the various MCOs available to Enrollees in a particular geographic area. The STATE or Local Agency shall complete enrollment by obtaining the signature of Enrollees or their Authorized Representatives on the enrollment form. For MSHO, the MCO also may complete enrollment. For Enrollees in MSC+ who are assigned to an MCO, a signature will not be obtained. Tribal governments may assist the STATE or Local Agency in presenting or developing materials describing the various MCO options for their members. If the tribal government revises any MCO materials, the MCO may review them prior to distribution. If the MCO deems the revisions to be substantial, the MCO shall have thirty (30) days to respond to the tribal government and no MCO materials will be distributed until there is mutual agreement on the revisions. (B) Neither the STATE nor the Local Agency will distribute to Enrollees written educational materials which describe the MCO or its health care plan without providing reasonable notice and opportunity for review by the MCO. Any inaccuracies will be corrected prior to dissemination, but final approval by the MCO is not required. (C) This section does not prohibit the MCO or its subcontractors from providing information: (1) For MSHO, to Recipients eligible for MSHO for the purposes of educating Recipients about Provider choices available through the MCO, subject to the limitations in the Marketing Restrictions section. (2) For MSC+, to Recipients who are enrolled in the MCO for the purpose of educating Enrollees about Provider choices available through the MCO, subject to the limitations in the Marketing Restrictions section. (D) Local Agency staff and MCO staff shall make available to Recipients the information about Providers as specified in section 3.2.6(B).

Check Issuance and LPHA Tribe Responsibilities: LPHA Tribe must document the required cCertification information and activities on a pParticipant’s record in the TWIST system in accordance with the requirements set out in Policy 640 of the WIC Manual. LPHA Tribe shall follow the procedures set out in Policy 1100 of the WIC Manual to ensure compliance with the FDNP Services requirements. Complaints/Abuse: LPHA Tribe must address all Civil Rights complaints according to Policy 230, Civil Rights, in the WIC Manual. Other types of complaints must be handled by LPHA’sTribe’s WIC Coordinator in consultation with the State FDNP coordinator if necessary. LPHATribe’s must record all complaints on an Oregon FDNP comment form (see Appendix B of Policy 1100 of the WIC Manual), and all originals of the completed form must be forwarded to the State FDNP Coordinator. Monitoring: OHA will monitor the FDNP practices of LPHA Tribe. OHA will review the FDNP practices of LPHATribe at least once every two years. The general scope of this review is found in Policy 1100 in the WIC Manual. OHA monitoring will be conducted in accordance with 7 C.F.R. Ch. II, Part 246 and agreement approved by the CLHO MCH Committee on January 2001, and by the CLHO Executive Committee on February 2001; and re-approved as written by the CLHO MCH Committee on March 2006, and the CLHO Executive Committee on April 2006.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education. 7.13.2 Courses considered to be offered as distance education shall be defined in accordance with the Board of Governors’ Title 5 Regulations and Guidelines. Generally, this definition refers to courses where the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technology (reference section 55370 of Title 5 California Code of Regulations). The determination of which courses in the curriculum may be offered in a distance education format, in addition to instructor/student contact requirements, shall be in accordance with the Title 5 California Code of Regulations.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).
