Reimbursement for Continuing Education. An employee participating in an Adult Education Program or earning high school level or college level credits shall be eligible to receive reimbursement from the Employer for full tuition, cost of books and other required materials if given prior approval by the Central Administration Office and upon submission of written notice of course completion with a passing grade of "C" or above. It is understood that reimbursement will only be made for courses which: 1. Maintain or improve skills required in the employee’s current employment, or 2. Meet the requirements imposed by statute, administrative regulation and/or this Agreement for the employee’s retention of a position in his/her seniority category.

Reimbursement for Continuing Education. The Company shall reimburse Executive for reasonable expenses incurred for continuing education courses (i) necessary to maintain any certifications or licenses Executive may hold relating to his position with the Company, or (ii) that are otherwise related to Executive’s position with the Company. Such courses shall be subject to approval by the Company, and the reimbursement under this paragraph shall be limited to $5,000 per calendar year.
Reimbursement for Continuing Education. The Board will pay $125 per semester hour for graduate work earned during the summer on a college campus or at another time as requested and approved by the Superintendent. The graduate credit must be earned in the major or minor area of teaching assignment or in another area as requested and approved by the Superintendent. Teachers taking advantage of this benefit must receive program or course approval in writing from the Superintendent. The Board will pay $250 per semester hour to staff working on an approved and accredited Masters Degree Program. Request for reimbursement will be made upon proof of successful completion of the course and by written request to the Superintendent.
Reimbursement for Continuing Education. Upon prior written approval from the Director or their designee, a paraprofessional would be able to take part in a conference, workshop, coursework, training or any other continuing education project that is related to the employee’s current assignment and receive reimbursement for their tuition, books, registration fees, or any other costs associated with attending such events. Costs of such events shall not exceed $250 per employee per school year. The right to grant or deny reimbursement under this section alone is at the Director’s or their designee’s discretion.
Reimbursement for Continuing Education. There shall be a fund of $900 for each certified staff for tuition fees and supplies for continuing graduate education. Said education shall be appropriate for teaching in the district. Each course or course of study shall be pre-approved by administration before the course commences. Requests for reimbursement may be made at any time before August 1 of the contract year providing that the teacher has completed the course and received an A or B in the class. There will be no carry over if monies are not used. Teachers, taking the tuition reimbursement shall agree, in writing, to serve in the district a minimum of one year, after completion of the program. If the teacher decides to leave the district prior to the one year, that teacher will fully reimburse the district for tuition expenses.
Reimbursement for Continuing Education. Employer agrees to pay for Employee’s reasonable, required continuing education. Employer shall reimburse Employee for any and all reasonable deductible expenses paid for these educational benefits, which the IRS allows Employer to deduct as a legitimate expense that Employee requires in order to remain current competent, and licensed as an ARNP. An estimate of any such expenses shall be submitted to Employer for approval in advance of Employee incurring them. However, in the event that this Agreement is terminated for any reason, Employee shall reimburse Employer for any amounts Employer has paid during the twelve (12) month period prior to the last day of employment.

Any request for reimbursement of graduate credits must be earned in an area related to the teaching assignment or in another area as requested and approved by the Superintendent.   • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Education Reimbursement The County will provide education reimbursement for education costs incurred by regular employees who apply for such reimbursement in accordance with the policies and procedures governing the education reimbursement program. The maximum reimbursement shall be $1,500 per year.

  • Payment of Extraordinary Education Related Expenses Section 5.1. PAYMENT OF EXTRAORDINARY EDUCATION-RELATED EXPENSES. In addition to the amounts determined pursuant to Articles IV and VI of this Agreement, Applicant on an annual basis shall also indemnify and reimburse District for all non-reimbursed costs, certified by the District’s external auditor to have been incurred by the District for extraordinary education-related expenses directly and solely related to the project that are not directly funded in state aid formulas, including expenses for the purchase of portable classrooms and the hiring of additional personnel to accommodate a temporary increase in student enrollment caused directly by such project. Applicant shall have the right to contest the findings of the District’s external auditor pursuant to Section 4.9 above.

  • Reimbursement for Costs The Grantee shall be paid on a cost reimbursement basis for all eligible Project costs upon the completion, submittal, and approval of each deliverable identified in the Grant Work Plan.   • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • REIMBURSEMENT FOR MILEAGE AND INSURANCE 1. An employee who is required by their employer to use their private vehicle for school district related purposes shall receive reimbursement of: Effective July 1, 2019 $ 0.56 c/Km Effective July 1, 2020 $ 0.57 c/Km Effective July 1, 2021 $ 0.58 c/Km 2.
