Relief and Meal Periods. A. A relief period of fifteen (15) minutes during each session shall be granted each employee. The time for such relief periods to be taken shall be fixed by the supervisor in charge and shall be near the mid-point of the session as is practicable. Such time shall be considered as time worked. B. In cases of connecting, call-out or nonscheduled work when an employee requests time off for a relief or meal period, such request will be granted, without pay, if practicable in view of the nature or expected duration of the work. C. When service requirements so dictate, the normal one (1) hour lunch period may be reduced to thirty (30) minutes by the Company. D. Employees shall be entitled to an evening meal allowance of $9.50. To be eligible for this allowance the employee must work a minimum of three (3) additional hours beyond his/her scheduled end of tour.

However, when an Employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted, any time lost will be rescheduled by the Employer during the same shift. If an Employee’s paid relief period is so interrupted, any time lost will be rescheduled by the Employer during the same shift if it is possible to do so.
