HOURS OF WORK AND BASIS OF COMPENSATION. Section 1: Work Schedules
A. Work schedules for all employees shall be posted officially by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday for each employee who is scheduled for assigned tours for the next calendar week, except that:
1. Holiday schedules shall be posted not later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday of the second week preceding the week in which the holiday falls.
2. Schedules for Sunday will be posted on the preceding Monday.
B. Work schedules shall stipulate the starting and ending time of such tours, together with the starting and ending time of each session. Intervals between sessions shall be shifted as necessary to meet service requirements.
C. Where employees work common hours as a group, a statement which meets the requirements of paragraph B. may be posted for the group as such.
D. At locations where no management person is assigned to supervise the employees involved, a letter to such employees which meets the requirements of paragraph B. may be addressed to them advising that until further notice they are to work that schedule. At such locations this shall be considered as complying with paragraph A. above.
E. Insofar as service requirements permit, Sunday assignments shall be rotated among the qualified employees within a work group.
1. Network Operations employees only, evening, night and day tours will be rotated on Sundays among those in the work group normally scheduled to work such tours.
F. Four – Ten Hour Work Days

The scheduled interval between the two (2) sessions may be shifted not more than one (1) hour either way at the instance of the Company in order to meet necessary service requirements without changing the length of time which had originally been scheduled between the sessions or the total number of scheduled hours for the tour. HOURS OF WORK AND BASIS OF COMPENSATION. 10.01 The overtime rate is one and one-half (1.5) times the basic hourly rate of pay and is paid under the following conditions:
a) All hours worked after an employee has worked 8 hours at the basic hourly rate of pay in a workday.
b) All hours worked after an employee has worked 40 hours at the basic hourly rate of pay in a workweek.
c) All hours worked on a non-scheduled Sunday. (If Sunday is part of the regular posted work schedule, then all hours are paid at the basic rate of pay.)
d) All call-out hours worked and those call-out hours not worked which make up the minimum requirement threshold listed in Section 10.03.

The schedule shall contain the name, seniority date, and assigned tours for the next calendar week for each employee. Work schedules shall stipulate the starting and ending time of each session. At locations where no Management person is assigned to supervise the employee involved, a letter to such employee which meets the requirements of Section 1., Paragraph B., may be addressed to him/her advising that until further notice he/she is to work that schedule. At such locations, this shall be considered as complying with Section 1., Paragraph A.
Section 2. SELECTION OF HOURS ON SCHEDULE Employees transferred, reclassified to a new job, returning from leave of absence or furlough, or employees who shall have their service bridged shall be allowed to choose by seniority on the master schedule at the next 13 week revision after entering the work group. Sunday, Saturday and Holiday Schedules shall be rotated among the employees within a work group in such a manner as to provide approximately equal opportunity of securing Sunday, Saturday and Holidays as scheduled days off. All employees shall have the right to exercise or re-exercise their seniority in the selection of tours at each revision of the master schedule or at intervals of every 13 weeks in case there is no such revision. Any individual selecting a tour on the master schedule shall be assigned that tour if he/she is adequately qualified to perform the work of the selected tour and if service requirements permit, except that employees having less than three (3) months’ service may be assigned any tours. Not more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the specified effective date of a new master schedule (Monday through Friday or Monday through Saturday, as appropriate) or in the reassignment of an existing master schedule, the Company will concurrently post: A copy of the schedule (or a notice) indicating the starting and ending time of tours, together with the starting and ending time of each session and the number of each group of tours. The following hours will not count toward the daily and weekly overtime calculation in (a) and (b) above: • Bereavement, jury duty, witness duty, short-term disability (STD), workers compensation, military, unscheduled vacation and personal holidays, and any other paid time off not listed above. • Any non-paid time off, including non-paid union time. • Any call-out hours (worked or those call-out hours not worked which make up the minimum requirement threshold). • Any hours worked over 8 in a workday or 40 in a workweek already paid at the overtime rate.
