Renter’s Responsibilities. (a) Renter undertakes to give timely notice of any defects in the vehicle not spotted by Budget at the time of it’s delivery to the Renter. In the absence of such notice it shall be deemed that the Renter received the vehicle in perfect working order. The Renter undertakes to return the vehicle to Budget in the same condition in which he or she received it, save for the normal wear and tear in relation to distance travelled, including (but not limited to) tyres, fittings, documents and complete equipment outfit. Renter must look after the vehicle and keys. Renter must always lock the vehicle when he is not using it, and he will incur a charge (which Budget will set from time to time) for lost keys. Renter must use any security device fitted to or supplied with the vehicle. Renter must make sure that he uses the correct fuel.

Renter’s Responsibilities. The Renter is responsible for: ● Reading and understanding the conditions of this information and Rental Agreement, and notifying their guests of any restrictions. ● Supervision of the conduct of all guests at the Renter’s event, including responsibility for any damages caused by any guest. ● Setting up any materials before the event and taking them down afterwards; this includes any and all tables, chairs, catering equipment, decorations, etc. ● Employing an outside catering service, if required. Please note that there are no kitchen facilities available. ● Collecting garbage and recycling, and removing it from the Museum at the end of the day. ● Meeting and providing staff with proof of acquiring all necessary permits, such as a Special Occasion Permit, temporary building permit, extra liability coverage, or burn permit. ● Assuming complete and total responsibility, and liability for any and all occurrences or accidents, should alcoholic beverages be served, and agreeing to hold harmless the Glengarry Pioneer Museum and the Township of North Glengarry. The Renter also agrees to abide by all terms and conditions of the Liquor Control Act of Ontario. ● Acquiring and completing all required permits, inspections, letters of event liability insurance, etc. The Museum will provide a checklist of the requirements at the time of booking. ● Addressing any disturbances or problems caused by intoxicated patrons, and ensuring that any intoxicated guests are provided with safe transportation when they leave the Museum. Museum staff must be notified of any incidents, accidents or damages to the facility, and if assistance is required in dealing with any situation, or if emergency services need to be called.
Renter’s Responsibilities. Renter shall: Provide a working number to address needs or issues that may need to be communicated to and from the Parks and Recreation Department, up to and including the day of reservation. Provide all set up and clean up for the event within the reservation times of 7:00 am to 1:00 am. (Tables and chairs will already be in place). Follow all rules in the reservation agreement, as specified herein, as well as park and facility rules published on the City’s website. Facility Equipment is to remain inside the facility. Clean up of the facility to restore it to pre-event condition including but not limited to clean up of spills, remove all decorations and other items brought in by the reservation or a service provider, etc. All attendees shall leave the premises by 1:00 am. Facility damage and/or maintenance needs must be reported to Parks staff upon discovery. Access to the facility is not permitted prior to the start of the reservation date and time. Access to the facility is not permitted after the end of the reservation date and time. Loitering after reservation hours is not permitted. City’s Responsibilities City will provide the following: Clean facility that is set up with tables and chairs according to the application and floor plan submitted by the renter. Staff on site to monitor facility, ensure facility related needs are taken care of in a prompt manner, and provide support to event organizer as reasonably possible. At the conclusion of the event, staff on site will secure the building and disinfect and sanitize facility equipment and surfaces as appropriate to include sweeping and mopping floors, storing tables and chairs, removing trash, cleaning the restrooms, and sanitizing the kitchen. This City is not responsible for any personal items that are missing, lost, stolen, or left on the premises. Any damage to the facility, equipment, or grounds will be the responsibility of the renter. Any additional cleaning required may incur additional fees that will be charged to the renter’s credit card on file or deem the renter ineligible to receive refund of security deposit.

The renter is responsible for leaving the facility in a clean and useable condition to avoid being invoiced for cleaning fees. Clean-up shall include, but not limited to: ❒ Wipe tables/chairs/counters/stove as needed. Spray cleanser and cloth available upon request. ❒ Sweep/mop/vacuum as needed. I have read and understand the City of Xxxxxxxx Parks & Recreation Department Policies and agree to accept the conditions as written. The undersigned does hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify the City of Xxxxxxxx, from any and all liability, loss, damages, costs, or expenses which are sustained, incurred, or required arising out of the actions of the undersigned in the course of facilitating an event at Xxxxxx Community Center.

Renter’s Responsibilities.  Preview list of intended caterer, entertainers, musicians, and other Agents with Rental Coordinator to ensure all are acceptable for use at the Temple.  Ensure Agents are aware of and comply with all Temple rental requirements.  Ensure each Agent submits a valid copy of its Certificate of Liability Insurance to the Temple at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event. The Renter’s right to use the premises shall be terminated immediately and all rental fees will be forfeited for non-compliance with this provision.  Provide a schematic detailing planned table and chair arrangements and an outline of the schedule for the event to the Rental Coordinator at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event.  All deliveries and set-up arrangements are to be established with the Rental Coordinator.  All property belonging to the Renter or Agents including plants, flowers, centerpieces, and decorations, must be removed from the premises immediately following the event unless alternate pick-up date and time arrangements have been pre-arranged with the Rental Coordinator. If an alternate arrangement is approved, the pick-up will be required on the next business day.  Check-in with Rental Coordinator upon arrival on premises for event set-up.  Comply with site access times as established with the Rental Coordinator.  Set up the tables and chairs that have been provided by the Temple. After completion of the event, return the tables and chairs in the same condition to the same location. All labor costs associated with set up and take down of chairs and tables are the responsibility of the Renter.  Clean-Up/End of Rental Requirements

Renter shall make suitable arrangements for safe, sheltered anchorage of the Boat during storms, high winds, high or low water, ice or snow conditions and other weather conditions, and Renter warrants that such arrangements have been or will be made. Renter may not assume that the Dock or Slip will be a safe, sheltered anchorage at any time and the City is not required to do any act to save or preserve the Boat or the Renter’s property
