Reporting Overtime. Total hours of recorded authorized overtime for each work period for each employee shall be reported on attendance reports and shall be signed by Fire Chief or designated alternate. The total hours of prior accumulated compensatory time taken off during each pay period shall be likewise reported.

Reporting Overtime. ‌ Overtime shall be compiled on a monthly basis, reported through appropriate means and paid to the employee on the succeeding payday after submission within payroll "cut-off" dates. Overtime and compensatory time shall be computed to the nearest half hour each time it is accrued.

Any overtime remaining at the end of the contract year in which it is banked may be carried over to the next contract year for purposes of taking equivalent time off. If equivalent time off is not taken by the end of the contract year following the contract year in which it is earned, the Company shall pay the deferred one-half premium pay. Tour Workers who choose to bank overtime may later re-elect to receive the deferred one-half premium pay.
