REQUESTS FOR USE. All requests for ABL shall be approved by the PFFM President and one additional Executive Board officer and submitted to the Fire Chief or his/her designee and shall adhere to the same scheduling guidelines as other departmental leave. ABL shall be included as one of the allotted vacation, holiday or compensatory time slots at the time of scheduling. The Fire Chief or his/her designee shall have final approval of ABL scheduling.
REQUESTS FOR USE. 1. An employee shall use PDL in a manner that does not unduly disrupt Telecare’s day-to-day business operations. For example, he/she is expected to avoid scheduling PDL during peak work hours, or when mandatory meetings are scheduled or work is time-sensitive.

  • Requests for Leave Except as provided under Section B.3., Family Care/Medical Leave Notification, requests for leaves of absence and extensions, with or without pay, shall be submitted in writing to the University.   • Requests for Flexible Working Arrangements 49.1 Employee may request change in working arrangements Clause 49 applies where an Employee has made a request for a change in working arrangements under s.65 of the Act. Note 1: Section 65 of the Act provides for certain Employees to request a change in their working arrangements because of their circumstances, as set out in s.65(1A).

  • Voluntary Requests for Assistance The Employer shall take no adverse action against an employee who voluntarily seeks treatment or counseling. The Employer shall assist an employee seeking assistance by making available means by which referrals or treatment may be obtained (Employee Assistance Program). Such assistance shall be obtained at the employee's expense.

  • Requests for Information (RFI) In the event the Contract Documents are not complete, definite, and clear, the Contractor shall request the Design Professional in writing for additional instructions and shall furnish the Owner a copy of the RFI. In the event such additional instructions are given orally for expediency, they shall be confirmed in writing or by drawings or both within five days following the oral instructions. Any such additional instructions shall be consistent with the Contract Documents and reasonably inferable therefrom. The Work shall be executed in conformity with the aforesaid instructions. The Design Professional shall furnish the Owner a copy of all additional instructions issued to the Contractor. If, because of events beyond its reasonable control, the Design Professional is not able to meet the specified time period, then it is entitled to ask for additional time from the Owner.
