Resolving Identical Seniority. A. If total years of continuous service referred to in Section 1 are equal between two (2) or more employees, then seniority shall be determined by total service with the District in any capacity.

Resolving Identical Seniority. If total years of seniority in the District are equal between two (2) or more ESPs, then seniority shall be determined by reference to the following tie-breakers in the order below:
Resolving Identical Seniority. If two (2) or more employees have the identical seniority date and are both affected by a layoff, seniority shall be determined by last name in alphabetical order. Exception: If an employee has prior service with the District prior to his/her current seniority date, that employee shall be determined to have greater seniority.

If total years of continuous service within a job category are equal between two (2) or more employees, then seniority shall be determined by: A) For drivers hired prior to December 21, 2001, the driver who has held a valid driver’s permit for the longest consecutive period followed by lottery, if necessary. B) For drivers hired on or after December 21, 2001, the driver who had the earliest interview with the Transportation Director, followed by lottery, if necessary. C) For all other positions, total service with the District in any capacity, followed by lottery, if necessary. The lottery shall be witnessed by the Union president and the administration.
Resolving Identical Seniority. 1. If total years of continuous service referred to in Section 7.3 of this Article are equal between two (2) or more paraprofessionals, then seniority shall be determined by total continuous service with the Cooperative in any capacity.
Resolving Identical Seniority. If total years of full-time in-District service within a category of position referred to in Section 1 are equal between two (2) or more Paraeducators, then seniority shall first be determined by date of hire; and then if a tie still exists, it shall be determined by accumulated work hours; and then if a tie still exists, it shall be determined by a drawing witnessed by the Union President and the Administration. Ties shall be broken at the time they occur and shall be denoted on the seniority list.
Resolving Identical Seniority. If total years of service in the bargaining unit referred to in Section 1 are equal between two (2) or more Assistants, then seniority shall first be determined by date of hire in the District and then if a tie still exists, it shall be determined by a lot witnessed by the Union President and the Administration.
