Final grades must be submitted in compliance with the established Dallas College timelines. i. All instructional due dates are provided to credentialed instructors directly via email by their respective academic school. Grade Reporting. Quarter grades shall be submitted at the close of the third teacher work day subsequent to the end of the first and third quarters; and semester grades shall be submitted at the close of the second teacher work day subsequent to the end of the first semester grading period, or at the end of the last teacher contract day. With training and effective computer support, the teacher will enter grades using the District’s technology. Using professional judgment teachers are expected to report the grade on student assignments in a reasonable and timely manner, normally within two (2) weeks.
Grade Reporting. All full-time, adjunct, and dual credit faculty are required to report final semester grades according to the TJC Academic Calendar. TJC Faculty are not required to report 6-week or 9-week grades to the District. Faculty must maintain letter and numeric grading for the College and the DISTRICT, respectively. Numeric grades will follow the grading metric outlined in the specific course syllabus.

Grade Reporting. Following the end of grading periods, teachers shall have at least 3 (three) school days before submitting report card grades. Once assignments/test are graded, teachers should record grades into Skyward in a timely manner. At the end of the school year, teachers shall have three business days following the administration of the teachers last examination if applicable.
Grade Reporting. 1. Aeries updates of the Teacher Portal will not occur during grade reporting windows, unless an update to the entire underlying Aeries system is required to meet state, federal, or grant reporting timelines. 2. Unit members shall not be required to write comments for first trimester report cards for students meeting grade level standards in all of the core academic areas. Teachers are minimally required to make comments through the drop down menu for any student not meeting grade level standards in any of the core academic areas. 3. Unit members shall determine the length and substance of the comments on the report card. Administrators may review report cards for appropriateness of the comments on the report card. 4. Unit members at the secondary levels shall be required to provide comments on the progress report only for students who are in danger of failing. 5. Unit members shall provide feedback a minimum of every two weeks and follow established grade reporting timelines (progress reports, quarters, trimesters, and semesters). Teachers of grades 3-12 shall provide updates in their Aeries, gradebook(s) or an approved electronic learning management system. This section does not apply to unit members at El Camino Real High School (continuation school). 6. Unit members at El Camino Real High School (continuation school) shall report grades and credits through Aeries a minimum of every three weeks.
Grade Reporting. 1. Bargaining unit members will be provided with the schedule of dates for grade reporting no later than the end of the first week of each grading period. 2. The deadline for reporting semester examination grades shall be no sooner than the second day following the completion of examinations. 3. The deadline for returning verification sheets shall be no sooner than the next day following the distribution of these sheets to bargaining unit members.
