Salaried Positions. 12.1.2.1. Salaried Employees work a flexible pattern of hours to achieve the position’s business requirements as provided for in clause 14 (Hours of Work Salaried Employees). 12.1.2.2. Salaried positions are compensated in full for all hours worked. Rates of pay are all inclusive of penalties, overtime and leave loading. Salaried Employees may attract a limited range of allowances provided for in this Agreement.
Salaried Positions. The President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, the Secretary Treasurer and those members appointed by the Executive Board or by a vote of the membership who serve the Local Union with their special talents, will each be paid a salary with all appropriate state and federal tax withholding. The salary amounts will be determined by majority vote of the membership during the regularly scheduled meeting in June. The salary amounts will be recorded in the minutes of the meeting and will become effective with the installation of officers in October. In this respect, the amendment provisions of Article XVIII do not apply. The current salary amounts are attached as Appendix A of these Bylaws.

Salaried Positions. The positions of Manager, Assistant Manager and Trained Early Childhood Teacher are salaried positions. All other teacher positions are waged positions. Hourly rates for salaried positions are based on a pro-rata of 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Salaried Positions. A successful applicant from within the bargaining unit shall be placed on trial for a period of three months. The purpose of the trial is so that the employee can ascertain whether the work of the position is suitable to him/her and so that the Employer can determine if the employee is suitable and capable of performing the work of the position. While on such trial the employee shall receive the salary or wage to which an employee is entitled on promotion in accordance with the Salary Administration Policy. As well, should the employee be confirmed in the position, this trial period will not delay the employee's increment. Should the employee find the work suitable and should the Employer find the employee suitable and capable of performing the work of the position, after three months, the Employer shall confirm the employee in the position. should the employee find the work unsuitable and/or the Employer find the employee unsuitable or incapable of performing the work of the position, the employee shall be returned to his/her former position and salary or wage rate. Any other employee promoted or transferred because of the of positions shall also be returned to his/her former position and salary or wage rate. It is understood that "suitable" and "unsuitable" above refers to the performance of work.
