Saturday Duty. (i) All work performed on a Saturday shall be paid at time and a half for the first 2 hours and at double time after that. An employee undertaking Saturday duty shall be paid for a minimum attendance of three hours. (ii) Where employees covered by this Agreement are on, or take unauthorised leave on any Friday they shall not have access to Saturday overtime. (iii) An employee performing Saturday work shall be entitled to a meal break of 30 minutes after each four hours continuous work. Payment for such crib breaks is incorporated in the Productivity Allowance provided in clause 17C.

Saturday Duty. 15.1 For duty not in excess of the prescribed weekly hours, payment will be made at the rate of half time additional to the ordinary rate of pay. 15.2 For the purposes of this clause, extra payment for Saturday duty will be granted for any scheduled duty performed between midnight on Friday and midnight on Saturday. 15.3 The extra rates prescribed in this clause will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift premiums prescribed in clause 11 (Hours of duty - shift work), but the provisions of this clause will not prejudice any right of the Employee to obtain alternatively, any higher rate in respect of this work by virtue of any other provision in this Part.

Saturday Duty. (a) An Employee, other than a shift worker, who is rostered to perform ordinary duty on a Saturday will be paid at the rate of 140% of the Employee’s ordinary rate of pay. Related to Saturday Duty

  • Saturday Sunday and designated paid holidays shall not be counted in determining the time within which any action is to be taken or completed under the grievance procedure.

  • Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday ‌ For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday, and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours per day. Any shift starting after 12:01 p.m. will receive a shift premium in accordance with Article 13.01 ii).

If the employee has not been employed for twelve months, the average amount will be fixed at the average in the calendar months up to the month in which the employee takes holidays.
