SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) SBBC staff will provide VENDOR with the education records listed in this section for the following purpose(s):
1) To provide access for PSAT, SAT, Pre-ACT, and ACT student practice comprising of self-paced additional resources and adaptive branching technology videos in English Language Art, Math, and ACT-Science..
2) To provide access to computer-adaptive individual practice with thousands of questions through the VENDOR question bank.
3) The ability to log in and track performance on assessments and other in-app activities including attendance.
(b) SBBC will provide VENDOR with the following education records via SBBC’s integration system:
1) Student First and Last Name 2) Student Email
3) Subject Section and Course Name
4) Student Identification Number
(c) In addition to the education records being disclosed by SBBC staff in Section 2.04(b), VENDOR will also have access to work and information input by students on VENDOR's online platform, including, Student work (student responses to in- app and practice questions), Student in-app performance. VENDOR shall comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. 6501-6505, and its corresponding Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule, 16 CFR Part 312. In instances where students under the age of thirteen (13) years enter personally identifiable work and information into VENDOR’s online platform, or when VENDOR engages in passive tracking of children’s personal information, SBBC shall obtain written verifiable consent from each student’s parent/guardian as required by COPPA.
(d) VENDOR is considered a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest to receive the types of information from SBBC student education records for the purposes listed above. Pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 34 CFR 99.31(a)(1), these records may be provided without prior parental consent. Prior written consent of the parent or student age 18 or over is needed for any types or purposes of disclosures of education records beyond those listed in this section.
(e) The requirements of this section shall supersede any uses and disclosures of education records or the like as listed in VENDOR’s privacy policies if any.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. Although no student education records shall be disclosed pursuant to this Agreement, should Granicus come into contact with education records during the course of contracted responsibilities, these records are confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and state laws and may not be used or re-disclosed. Any use or re-disclosure may violate applicable federal and state laws.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. Although no student education records will be disclosed pursuant to this Agreement, should Conscious Discipline come into contact with education records during the course of contracted responsibilities, these records are confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and state laws and may not be used or re-disclosed. Any use or re-disclosure may violate applicable federal and state laws.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) SBBC will provide VENDOR with the education records listed in this section:
1) to deliver curriculum education-specific to Mental and Emotional Health Education, Substance Use and Abuse Prevention and Child/Human Trafficking Awareness pursuant to Section 1003.42, Florida Statutes;
2) to provide students with a login code;
3) to report which students have completed their lessons to SBBC.
(b) SBBC will provide VENDOR with the following education records via the District’s integration system:
1) Student first and last name 2) Student identification number 3) Student date of birth 4) Student gender 5) Student grade level 6) Name of school
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) SBBC staff will provide VENDOR with the education records listed in this section for the following purposes:
1) To facilitate the operation of speech, debate and mock trial tournaments SBBC has engaged VENDOR to provide services to support the administration of;
2) To register/create an account for each user at the request, action or direction of SBBC teachers/staff/coaches
(b) SBBC staff will provide VENDOR with the following education records by online platform:
1) Student first and last name 2) Student email address
3) Student phone numbers (when serving as judges)
4) Comments on ballots regarding student Debate performance and/or Mock Trial performance 5) Student Classroom Numbers (written consent is required to post these on with student names VENDOR
(c) VENDOR is considered a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest to receive the aforementioned types of information from SBBC student education records for the purposes listed above. Pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 34 CFR 99.31(a)(1), these records may be provided without prior parental consent. Prior written consent of the parent or student age 18 or over is needed for any types or purposes of disclosures of education records beyond those listed in this section.
(d) Although may receive some SBBC education records without prior written parental consent, SBBC st s as well as SBBC classroom numbers online platform. The purpose of these postings is to inform students of room locations for the competitions. Because this platform is viewable by the public, SBBC will obtain written consent from the parent/guardian or student age 18 or over prior to posting these education records.
(e) The requirements of this section shall supersede any use of education records or shall:
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records a. SBBC will provide Foundation the education records provided in Article 2.03 (5) of the Grant Agreement and listed below for the purposes of program registration and program progress reporting. SBBC staff shall input these records listed in this section into the JAG ENDMS. The JAG ENDMS is a database held outside of the SBBC technology infrastructure which JAG maintains and Foundation staff will access to report performance metrics.
b. SBBC will provide Foundation with the following education records through the ENDMS (database):
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) State the purpose(s) of the disclosure of the education records
(b) SBBC will provide Insert text. with the following education records: Insert list of any and all education records that District staff will disclose or to which vendor will be allowed access.
(c) SBBC will obtain consent from each student’s parent/guardian or student age 18 or older whose education records are to be shared prior to disclosing or allowing access to the education records listed below. (Should you believe that the vendor falls under an exception to obtaining consent, then consult with SBBC Privacy Officer on appropriate language.)
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. Although no SBBC student education records will be disclosed pursuant to this Agreement, should the School come into contact with education records during the course of contracted responsibilities, these records are confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and state laws and may not be used or re-disclosed. Any use or re-disclosure may violate applicable federal and state laws.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. Although no student records will be disclosed pursuant to this Agreement, should the Parties come into contact with the education records during the course of contracted responsibilities, these records are confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) and state laws and may not be used or re-disclosed. Any use or re-disclosure may violate applicable federal and state laws. Likewise, no employee information will be disclosed by SBBC to the Parties. Should Parties come into contact with employee information, it may not be re-disclosed except as required or permitted by law.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) Curriculum Associates is considered a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest to receive the types of information from SBBC student education records listed in this section for the purposes listed in this section. Pursuant to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 34 CFR 99.31(a)(1), these records may be provided without prior parental consent. Prior written consent of the parent or student age eighteen (18) or over is needed for any types or purposes of disclosures of education records beyond those listed above.
(b) SBBC will provide Curriculum Associates with the education records identified in section 15(c) below, in a time, place, and manner agreed upon between the parties through the District’s integration system, and for the following purposes:
i. To register/create an account for each user;
ii. To provide the Product(s) and Services in this Agreement; and,
iii. For Curriculum Associates to create progress reports for administrators and teachers.
(c) SBBC will provide Curriculum Associates with the following education records for the purposes listed herein:
i. Student first and last name; ii. Student date of birth; iii. Student gender;
iv. Student ethnicity or race;
v. Student identification number;
vi. Student grade level;
vii. Teacher first and last name;
viii. Teacher email address;
ix. Teacher personnel number;
x. School name/identification number (ID);
xi. English language learner status (if provided by SBBC); and
xii. Student with Disability status (if provided by the SBBC).
(d) In addition to the Education Records listed in this section, Curriculum Associates will have access to all responses by students into Curriculum Associates’ Product, as Curriculum Associates’ stores and maintains this information.
(e) Except as otherwise provided herein, the requirements of this section shall supersede any uses of student information as listed in Curriculum Associates’ privacy policies.
(f) For the avoidance of doubt, SBBC hereby grants CA a perpetual, royalty free license to use De- identified Data (as defined in section 6 above) for product development, research and other purposes consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which shall not be considered education records.
