SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. Although no student education records shall be disclosed pursuant to this Agreement, should CAREER SOFT come into contact with education records during the course of contracted responsibilities, these records are confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and state laws and may not be used or re-disclosed. Any use or re-disclosure may violate applicable federal and state laws.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. SBBC will provide Foundation the education records provided in Article 2.03 (5) of the Grant Agreement and listed below for the purposes of program registration and program progress reporting. SBBC staff shall input these records listed in this section into the JAG ENDMS. The JAG ENDMS is a database held outside of the SBBC technology infrastructure which JAG maintains and Foundation staff will access to report performance metrics.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) SBBC will provide VEI with the education records listed in this section for the following purposes:
1) to create student accounts for log in and use of VEI’s entrepreneurship program and global business simulation that facilitates the transformation of students into business professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset by bringing the workplace into the classroom.
2) to collect de-identified education records (via student surveys) to improve the VEI program, see Attachment C.
(b) SBBC will provide VEI with the following personally identifiable education records via the SBBC’s integration system: student first and last name.
(c) In addition to the education records being disclosed by SBBC staff in Section 2.04(b), VEI will also have access to student surveys (that do not contain personally identifiable information) input by students into survey monkey. Survey responses such as student’s general information, student engagement, student participation, and student outcome. VEI shall comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. 6501-6505, and its corresponding Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule, 16 CFR Part 312. In instances where students under the age of thirteen (13) years enter personally identifiable work and information into VEI online platform, or when VEI engages in passive tracking of children’s personal information, SBBC shall obtain written verifiable consent from each student’s parent/guardian as required by XXXXX.
(d) VEI is considered a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest to receive the aforementioned types of information from SBBC student education records for the purposes listed above. Pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 34 CFR 99.31(a)(1), these records may be provided without prior parental consent. Prior written consent of the parent or student age 18 or over is needed for any types or purposes of disclosures of education records beyond those listed in this section.
(e) The requirements of this section shall supersede any use of education records or student information, or the like as listed in VEI’s privacy policies.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) SBBC will provide VENDOR the education records listed in this section to provide content at differentiated consumption levels along with integrated assessments via xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx (“Website”), the Newsela mobile application (“App”) and any other websites or applications of VENDOR. This program provides content in five (5) different reading levels to differentiate instruction with the ultimate goal of improving student reading achievement.
(b) SBBC will provide VENDOR with the following education records through SBBC’s integration system:
1) Student first and last name 2) Course and Section
3) Username
4) Grade Level
5) Date of Birth
(c) In addition to the education records being disclosed by SBBC in this section, VENDOR will also have access to the below information entered by students in VENDOR's online platform. VENDOR shall comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. 6501-6505, and its corresponding Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule, 16 CFR Part 312. In instances where students under age of thirteen (13) years enter personally identifiable information into VENDOR’s online platform (which is not required or allowed by VENDOR’s online platform) or when VENDOR collects children’s personal information, SBBC shall obtain written verifiable consent from each student’s parent/guardian as required by COPPA.
1) Performance-related information about how a student interacts with XXXXXX's services, including the articles that a student reads, the types of articles a student has expressed interest in, quiz-related information, responses a student writes to teacher assignment prompts, how much time a student spends reading the articles.
2) VENDOR will also collect writing by a student in many forms, including but not limited to their annotations and written responses to writing prompts.
3) Individual student-level records disclosed in this section may not be used or re-disclosed by VENDOR to any other individual or entity. VENDOR may not use any of the individual student information for marketing purposes.
(d) VENDOR is considered a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest to receive the aforementioned types of information from SBBC student education records for the purposes listed above. 1) to deliver curriculum education-specific to Mental and Emotional Health Education, Substance Use and Abuse Prevention and Child/Human Trafficking Awareness pursuant to Section 1003.42, Florida Statutes;
2) to provide students with a login code;
3) to report which students have completed their lessons to SBBC.
(b) SBBC will provide VENDOR with the following education records via the District’s integration system:
1) Student first and last name 2) Student identification number 3) Student date of birth 4) Student gender 5) Student grade level 6) Name of school
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) SBBC staff will provide VENDOR with the education records listed in this section for the following purposes:
1) To facilitate the operation of speech, debate and mock trial tournaments SBBC has engaged VENDOR to provide services to support the administration of;
2) To register/create an account for each user at the request, action or direction of SBBC teachers/staff/coaches
(b) SBBC staff will provide VENDOR with the following education records by online platform:
1) Student first and last name 2) Student email address
3) Student phone numbers (when serving as judges)
4) Comments on ballots regarding student Debate performance and/or Mock Trial performance 5) Student Classroom Numbers (written consent is required to post these on with student names VENDOR
(c) VENDOR is considered a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest to receive the aforementioned types of information from SBBC student education records for the purposes listed above. Pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 34 CFR 99.31(a)(1), these records may be provided without prior parental consent. Prior written consent of the parent or student age 18 or over is needed for any types or purposes of disclosures of education records beyond those listed in this section.
(d) Although may receive some SBBC education records without prior written parental consent, SBBC st s as well as SBBC classroom numbers online platform. The purpose of these postings is to inform students of room locations for the competitions. Because this platform is viewable by the public, SBBC will obtain written consent from the parent/guardian or student age 18 or over prior to posting these education records.
(e) The requirements of this section shall supersede any use of education records or shall:
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) State the purpose(s) of the disclosure of the education records
(b) SBBC will provide Insert text. with the following education records: Insert list of any and all education records that District staff will disclose or to which vendor will be allowed access.
(c) SBBC will obtain consent from each student’s parent/guardian or student age 18 or older whose education records are to be shared prior to disclosing or allowing access to the education records listed below. (Should you believe that the vendor falls under an exception to obtaining consent, then consult with SBBC Privacy Officer on appropriate language.)
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records a. SBBC will disclose education records to The Foundation for the purposes of:
i. program registration,
ii. progress reporting on job readiness competencies, iii. school newsletters with student photos, and

Although no student education records shall be disclosed pursuant to this Agreement, should LIA come into contact with education records during the course of contracted responsibilities, these records are confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and state laws and may not be used or re-disclosed. Any use or re-disclosure may violate applicable federal and state laws. However, LIA representative will visit the schools to monitor implementation and mentor the teachers and students.
SBBC Disclosure of Education Records. (a) SBBC will provide education records listed in subsection (c), below to PCG for the following purposes:
1) To allow for proper student registration within the system.
2) To provide PCG with the education records needed to facilitate the digital platforms listed in this Agreement.
3) For proper reporting of the information back to school administrators. Reports consist of individual and aggregate data usage reports, and information from progress assessments, education plans, and more.
(b) SBBC will provide PCG with the following education records, through its integration system:
1) Student Name
2) Student School Identification Number
3) State Identification Number
4) Date of Birth
5) Gender
6) Grade Level 7) Name of School 8) Place of Birth
