SECURITY FENCING. Replace the entire subsection with the following: Fencing or steel plate covers shall be installed in advance of or concurrently with excavation operations in accordance with LACDPW Standard Plan 6008. Fencing shall completely enclose all open excavations and shall remain in place until backfill has been placed to approximately adjacent ground level. Fencing may be removed during working hours as necessary to provide access and working room for construction operations. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to provide equivalent security during these periods. Fencing shall be of either Type 1 or 2 as defined below or a combination thereof as approved by the Engineer and shall be securely fastened together. However, adjacent to any school or park, fencing shall be Type 2. Type 1 fencing shall be in accordance with LACDPW Standard Plan 6002. Type 2 fencing shall be 11 gage, 2-inch mesh, 5-foot chain link fabric securely fastened to metal posts driven in place at 10 foot maximum spacing and extending at least 5 feet above ground, or securely fastened to the shoring system if in the opinion of the Engineer this method will provide equivalent security to the method of driven posts. Payment for temporary fencing and/or plating shall be considered as included in the prices in the Bid for the various items of work. Add the following subsection(s):
SECURITY FENCING. (A) Developer agrees that the barbed wire portion of the exiting fencing will be removed withing 6 months of the approval of the CRA by all required parties set forth in Section 3(d).
SECURITY FENCING. Requirements for security fencing will be determined by the criticality of the program and the potential threat environment.
SECURITY FENCING. As a condition of this sale, Purchaser agrees to relocate and replace the security fencing, at Purchaser’s expense, to meet Homeland Security requirements for a Utility Water & Wastewater facility. Minimum requirement:
SECURITY FENCING. Fencing and designated control points will secure the site to protect public safety and to secure the site from theft and vandalism. Security fencing has been placed around the perimeter of the entire site. The fencing has been located to limit the active yard’s footprint on the headland and to minimize the length of fence required. A truck gate will be installed across the Schooner Pond Beach Road.
SECURITY FENCING. The Concessionaire shall provide and maintain, at its sole cost, perimeter and other fencing or barriers within or around the Airport Sites in accordance with the ICAO standards described in [Annex 17 to the Chicago Convention and Good Industry Practice]. [Note: this provision may be amended subject to technical review]
SECURITY FENCING. Security fencing more than six feet tall shall enclose towers. This fencing is equipped with an appropriate anti-climbing device.
SECURITY FENCING. At the Third City Closing (as defined in the Exchange Agreement), BNSF will grant to City and its Personnel a Right of Entry (the "Security Fencing License") in the form attached hereto as Exhibit JJ, incorporated by reference herein, to the extent necessary for City to construct, install, maintain, repair, and replace the security fencing (together with all gates and appurtenances generally depicted on Exhibit P-1 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, collectively the "Security Fencing") on City property and a portion of BNSF property as described in Section 9 below and as depicted on Exhibit P, all such exhibits attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The ingress and egress route for the exercise of such Right of Entry will be as determined by BNSF. Notwithstanding the above, City shall not be responsible for maintenance of the Security Fencing during any such time BNSF has not provided City with an ingress and egress route for the exercise of such Right of Entry.
SECURITY FENCING. 9.1 In an effort to strengthen security, City as part of the Rights of Entry Work, will own and Operate the Security Fencing upon the Future City Property (and a small portion of the Future BNSF Corridor) on or near the perimeter of the Future City Property as generally shown on Exhibit P attached hereto, and according to fencing requirements attached hereto as Exhibit VV and incorporated herein by reference. BNSF will grant City, without additional monetary consideration, a license over BNSF roadways located upon the Future BNSF Corridor and a portion of Future BNSF Corridor to permit City access to Operate the Security Fencing as part of the Right of Entry described in Section 3.2.8 above. City will Operate the Security Fencing to comply with all of BNSF's requirements, and all recommendations of the Department of Homeland Security. BNSF shall have no responsibility for the Operation of the Security Fencing. City shall be responsible for all costs of Operation of the Security Fencing (including all gates and related appurtenances thereto), including the costs of initial construction.
9.2 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9.1 above, however, BNSF reserves the right to terminate the Security Fencing License upon fifteen (15) days' prior written notice to City. As more particularly described in the Security Fencing License, upon such termination by BNSF: (i) City will grant to BNSF a license, as more particularly described in the Security Fencing License, for access to, and Operation of, the Security Fence located on City's property, and (ii) BNSF will assume all responsibility and bear all costs for Operating the Security Fence.
