SEMINARS, MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS. 19.01 Leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority or fringe benefits shall be granted to not more than three appointed or elected representatives of the Union for not more than an aggregate total of 15 man-days in any calendar year for the purpose of attending any recognized Union conventions or seminars. Application for such leave of absence shall be made through the Director of Operations, the Director of Pollution Control, the Director of Parks or the Director of Commercial Services a reasonable length of time in advance and shall be subject to approval of the department head. SEMINARS, MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS. (a) Any employee within the bargaining unit, holding office in any Union organization with which the Union is affiliated, or who has been duly appointed as a delegate thereto, may attend any seminar, meeting or convention of such organization, provided that the approval of the Director of Administration is obtained. Such employee shall not be entitled to any wages or salary during the time of his absence from work unless, in the opinion of the Director of Administration, such seminar, meeting or convention is held for the purpose of the training and instruction of Health Unit employees and will have the effect of making him more efficient in the performance of his duties.

  • Progress Meetings The Engineer shall from time to time during the progress of the work confer with the State. The Engineer shall prepare and present such information as may be pertinent and necessary or as may be requested by the State in order to evaluate features of the work.

  • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential.

Both parties may utilize the services of consultants during the negotiation process.   • Mandatory Meetings All residential students are required to attend the following building meetings. Time & locations will be communicated by the RAs through individual contact, emails and/or signs in the buildings. A $25 fee will be charged to any students who do not attend without an approved absence. The meetings will be held on the following dates (dates subject to change): Monday, August 30th, 2021 – 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2021 Monday, February 1, 2022 Tuesday, April 27, 2022

  • Project Managers; Meetings 10.1 Promptly following the Effective Date, each Party shall designate a Project Manager responsible for coordinating the Party’s Work and shall provide the other Party with a written notice containing the name and contact information of such Project Manager (“Project Manager”). In no event shall any Project Manager be authorized to amend or modify the provisions of this Agreement. Each Party may change its Project Manager, from time to time, by written notice to the other Party.

  • Joint Meetings 10.1(a) Should either party desire to discuss with the other any matter affecting generally the relationship of the parties, a meeting of Union and management representatives shall be arranged upon request of either party. Such meeting shall take place at a time mutually convenient to both parties. Any use of Company time for attendance at such meetings shall be arranged in advance by mutual agreement.

  • Reports/Meetings The Contractor shall develop reports and any other relevant documents necessary to complete the services and requirements as set forth in this Contract. The County’s Project Manager and the Contractor’s Project Manager will meet at a County designated location to discuss the Contractor’s performance and progress under this Contract, at the request of the County’s Project Manager. If requested by County, the Contractor’s Project Manager and other project personnel shall attend all meetings. The Contractor shall provide such information that is requested by the County for the purpose of monitoring progress under this Contract.

  • Job Meetings Upon award of the Mini-Bid Contract and prior to the start of any work, the Contractor shall be available for an initial job meeting with the Authorized User’s representative to discuss the following items:

  • Project Meetings The Contractor shall attend a preconstruction conference and shall participate in regularly scheduled Project meetings.
