The ARPS School Committee and the Amherst-Pelham Education Association agree that physical distancing that limits close physical contact among all students and staff at the school sites, consistent with the most recent epidemiological information must occur. Physical distancing measures shall include: a. Teachers, education support professionals, administrators, and all other school staff shall maintain six (6) feet of physical distance from one another and signage will be posted to indicate proper physical/social distancing. b. Members of Unit C who are assigned to support students that require regular and extended, close contact (less than 6 feet) with students or who require regular and extended, close contact with students who are not required to wear a mask during a time when the Districts are operating under a hybrid or in-person model will be paid a 2020-2021 stipend of $250 per quarter for all employees, prorated for in-person days worked. c. Students will be required to maintain six feet of social distance. 1. The Districts will assume liability in the event that staff cannot maintain six feet of social distancing while supporting students. Staff will not be held liable. 2. The Districts shall ensure minimum physical distancing of six (6) feet between student workspaces, between educator and student workspaces, and between employee workspaces. 3. In classrooms where tables are utilized, students at tables will be spaced no less than six (6) feet apart. If sharing a table is required, students will be seated at opposite ends of the table. 4. Any time two (2) or more persons meet, a minimum of six (6) feet of separation shall be required; d. Interactions when picking up or delivering equipment or materials to a worksite shall be minimized, and shall ensure minimum 6‐ foot separation; e. To the extent practical, only one trade/subcontractor at a time may be permitted on a worksite, and a minimum six (6) foot separation shall be maintained for each such trade/subcontractor. Social Distancing Requirements. Both parties recognize that ongoing adherence to the guidelines of state and local public health officials will continue to be a requirement. In the interest of serving students on campus, any previous agreement on social distancing is amended to conform to current January 19, 2021 California Public Health Department guidelines. Maximize space between seating and desks. Distance teacher and other staff desks at least 6 feet away from student and other staff desks. Distance student chairs at least 6 feet away from one another, except where 6 feet of distance is not possible after a good-faith effort has been made. Upon request by the local health department and/or State Safe Schools Team, the superintendent should be prepared to demonstrate that good-faith effort, including an effort to consider all outdoor/indoor space options and hybrid learning models. Under no circumstances should the distance between student chairs be less than 4 feet. Classroom groups that reduce social distancing below 6 feet will be considered only on a case by case basis. Both parties agree to confer if public health guidance about social distancing is amended in the future.

For purposes of routing Verizon traffic to ECI, the subtending arrangements between ECI Tandem Switches and ECI End Office Switches shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements that ECI maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic.
