Injured Employees In the event that an employee becomes physically handicapped as a result of sustaining an injury at work, the Employer shall make every effort to give the injured employee such suitable employment as is available. Dangerous Circumstances In accordance with Part of the Canada Labour Code, an employee may refuse to work in certain dangerous circumstances. Employees Working Alone Where an employee is employed under conditions where he or she is working alone, the Employer shall provide a method of checking on the well-being of the employee at intervals which are reasonable and practical under the circumstances. An employee who completes the required training and becomes certified in emergency response shall receive a yearly pro-rated allowance of three hundred dollars ($300.00). To be eligible for the allowance, the employee must maintain such certification and be designated as an member by the Employer.
Special Examinations. If an employee performs duties which might jeopardize the safety of fellow employees, the employee for reasonable cause may be required to undergo special examinations from time to time at the Authority expense to see that he/she meets acceptable physical and mental standards.

If an Ambassador performs duties which might jeopardize the safety of fellow Ambassadors ,the Ambassador for reasonable cause, may be required to undergo special examinations from time to time at the Authority’s expense to see that they meet acceptable physical and mental standards.
